An imperial IPA with no smutty nose. Thick head. Like sucking a lemon through a pine cone but in a good way.

A-small half finger of head with filtered apple juice color. Faint lacing with white head S-lots here. Big Resin, syrup and mild malts up front with peaches, honey, and faint pine making up the rest. T-malts and resin mostly, with some soap and pine. Very faint grapefruit. Tropical and citrus variety at the end. Some bread and soda crackers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle, I notice the amber color and low head. Aromas of lemon and hops. Creamy palate with tastes of vanilla and a hint of clove. Not overpowering and not bitter. This is a high quality beer, worth another go-around.

Pours with a slight hazy golden body. Head is white, big bubbles. Aroma is crisp bitterness with a tang of orange and lemon zest. Taste is slightly bittersweet. Palate is bitter citrus (orangey-lemon) and grassy flavors. Glass retains a white bubbly lace. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale golden color, lots of lace. Nice frothy orange scent, a little pine, pungent. Mildly bitter, citrusy taste with an easy aftertaste. Nice beer all around.

Pours a cloudy golden color with about a finger of head and some nice lacing. There are lots of small particles floating around. Aroma is resinous hops, citrus, pine and a touch of malt. Nice. Taste follows the nose and is initially sweet but then the bitterness kicks in and lingers after the finish. I like the balance. The body is medium and slightly creamy and oily. A decent DIPA.

Pours an orange. Briefly starts sweet but ends extremely bitter as expected for a double IPA.

Bomber pours hazy yellow with a full white head. Aromas of hops grassy notes with citrus and pine. Flavor is bitter and very hoppy. Body is medium and a bit astringent. Finish is bitter and grassy a bit boozy as well

66cl Bottle, thanks Harmen! As Brewmaster’s Reserve Double IPA, grey & black label. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of light sweet floral malts, pine, light sweet citrus, very elegant. Flavour is soft and sweet, crisp malts, flowers, light sweet citrus, bitter citrus and pine in the finish, nice and balanced. Medium-bodied, high drinkability.

Bomber pour into a tulip glass. Color looks like an apricot -- quite striking. Aroma is fairly typical for an IPA, more on the grapefruit side of hops than pine. In the mouth it’s fuller with more body than I expected, and initially there’s almost a sense of cream. I can’t recapture that feeling on subsequent tastes, and the hops shine through with grapefruit and astringency. There’s a bit of the roundness in the finish, and a hint of sweetness. I’ve gotten a bit burned out on super hoppy IPAs, but this strikes a nice balance between the hops and other beer flavors.
