Bomber. Pours a bright, crisp orange color with a big white foamy head that recedes to leave light lacing and a small ring. Nose is floral hops, biscuity malts, light clover honey. Palate is syrupy and thick but also refreshing. Flavors of sweet honey notes with some light sticky fruit hints, mangos and such, a great mouthfeel. kidrobot (103) - Port Charlotte, New Jersey, USA - JUN 25, 2010

Flavor: HOT DAMNNNNNNNNN HOPS. Every Brewmaster beer I have had was very impressive for a large brewery 50belair (3680) - Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2010
On tap at the airport in Philly. Could get a sense of the smell, but it was a nice golden amber color. It was very hoppy with piney, floral notes, might even have had some apricot mixed in. The hop dominated the sweet malt backbone like hot bitch in latex. Overall, a very nice DIPA..... ben4321 (6678) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 12, 2010

Aroma: The nose is immediately grapefruit, pine, and resiny hops, with some subtle toast and flowers
Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy orange color with a thick, creamy white head leaving lots of lace
Flavor: It is quite flavorful with some sweet grapefruit/caramel accompanied by a nice hoppy bitterness
Palate: The drinkability of this one is rather high, medium bodied, and somewhat sticky on the mouth
I liked this one quite a bit. From the initial whiff, I had a good feeling, and I was not disappointed. It drinks really well, just a straight-up enjoyable DIPA. It has a nice complexity of flavor. Really quality stuff.
Bottle. Sexy pour -- bright and light, orange and slightly hazy, with a tower pile of cushiony foam on top. The aroma has an expected citrus-laden fruit to it, but also a somewhat surprising bready spiciness. This plays out on the tongue with an intriguing kiss of pepper and pine. Well done! Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are brett, flowers, hops, caramel, citrus, pine and malt. Nice combination of brett and dipa. MarkSachon (1044) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Draft at the White Horse Tavern in Newport, RI. Excellent hop profile, citrus and floral flavors abound. Tasted really great in the ambiance of the White Horse Tavern’s bar with great notes from the young bartender there that night. Felt like I could have been having one with the early settlers of Rhode Island. indrafool (10) - Ocean City, New Jersey, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Not what I was expecting from a "double ipa" but still a great beer. An underlying sweetness cut through much of the bitterness that the "86 IBU" label boasts of, but it does so eloquently. Nice lacing and a great finish that I’m still tasting, with citrus pith and walnuts dancing together while subtle pine and floral aromatics wait patiently to cut in. Despite not being quite what is advertised I still highly recommend this brew. Well Done to Long Trail. jpooley (2) - Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 29, 2013 does not count
Pours a hazy amber, with thin white head. Pine and juniper. Caramel early, very hoppy--sustained--and strong bitter aftertaste, with slight alcohol burn. An excellent double ipa.

Bottle. Pale amber gold beer with a thin white head. The aroma is lovely. Rich bright tropical citrus aroma. Light sweet honeyish aroma. A bit of light tropical mango and pineapple. It is very bright and fresh smelling. Flavour is soft and fruity. Fairly creamy texture with a rich fruity hoppiness. Moderate bitterness. Lovely and hoppy with a light moderate bitterness. Lovely beer.
