Draft at Il Forno in Frederick, MD served in a pint glass. Clear ambery, dark brown color with tan head. Aroma notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuttiness, some maple and tad spices. Taste adds some faint coffee, more roast and tad more maple. Light body, low-moderate carbonation, creamy, sticky with sweet roast finish. Nice enough lighter brown ale with some maple influence. rondphoto (4489) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - SEP 24, 2015
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark amber brown color, good one finger tan head, lots of lace strips. Aroma of malt, hay, and wood, much like a good smelling barn. Taste is malt that turns heavier as it moves through a medium carbonated swallow, adding wood, nut, and maybe a little maple syrup. The finish is notably short of hops, as one might expect from this type of brew, and the finish is short. I’ve had better Long Trail examples. Bottled. A brown beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of nuts, caramel, spices, maple sirup, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel , maple sirup, and fruit, leading to a dry finish. jrodooo5 (1704) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - SEP 18, 2015
Too thin & watery to carry any flavor! Pours a decent brown w/ a thin tan head & spotty lacing. The aroma has some nice dark malts. The taste has some ok malty notes but they are drowned out by the thinness of this beer. It’s pretty light but evaporating taste makes this a below average beer! Bottle from Philly craft. EHH, it was just okay for me. Notes of roasted malts, toffee and some roast. Body was a bit too thin for me, slightly watery.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, dark brown with a small tan head and no real lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, some nuts and hints of coffee. Taste is sweet, malty, some yeast, a bit nutty and a bit bitter towards the end. Overall a nice beer, enjoyable and drinkable. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2014
12oz bottle thanks to Ed5388, thanks bro. Poured a flater body of deep dark brown under a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma/flavor of chocolate, muffin, medium toast, light hint of coffee, milk, slight syrupyness. Body is super soft to almost flat bodied, medium mouthfeel, milky full finish. Improve the body on this and this one jumps up tremendously. Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 15, 2014
12oz bottle from Lacey Spirits. Poured a light brown color with a small foamy tan head. Aroma of light coffee, nuts, toasted malts, and hints of sweet pancake syrup. Taste mimics the nose with a little more roastiness, and more maple in the finish. Really liked this one. dliberto (217) - Hampstead, Maryland, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Drank from the bottle. Aroma is composed of nuts, hay, grass, and corn. Taste is yeast and nuts with a little bit of caramel thrown into the mix. Medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation and a sticky mouth feel. Okay beer, nothing special.
