12oz bottle pours with a near clear copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up lots of sweet smelling crystal malts, malts and a bit of dark fruity esters with just thin wisps of mineral, sort of earthy to spicy hops well off in the background. The taste however does deliver a tasty array of hoppiness. I get floral hops, a spicy mineral hop like sensation, full on bitter grassy hops and then a herbal earthy tea hoppiness. This doesn’t have the standard IPA hops and that’s great. Behind the hops are sweet dark crystal malt notes, thin sweet figs, some sweet malts and then a biscuit maltiness rounding things out. I like the taste with a bit of a different take on the hop bill but it still delivers tasty hoppiness. Goodgrief (2020) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - NOV 3, 2016
Bottle. Dark orange pour, frothy head, nice lacing. Herbal, resinous hops, breads malt. Nicely balanced. Crisp and moderate bitterness. Enjoyable. Surprisingly good from a brewer that does not typically evoke high expectations. Dal9000 (623) - Ohio, USA - SEP 24, 2016
At 2016 Dayton Octoberfest. Pours dark orange with a thin sticky head. Nose of citrus hops. With an immediate citrus pine tang.

Pours a deep golden amber with a thin white head. Light carbonation with some lacing. Nice aroma of sweet grass, pine resin, and citrus peel. Medium, light syrupy texture. Fairly smooth with a blend of hops and malt that leaves just a slightly bitter aftertaste. Not my favorite but pretty enjoyable. bth122 (1547) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 6, 2016

On tap at Smokin With Chris. Nice colour and head. New Zealand-y hops. Over-ripe fruit, a sharpness that isn't booze. Unsweet fruit. Good.

Bottle into a shaker showing well filtered dark orange peel with half a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows malt on the front end that warms up into light citrus and orange zest.
The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Flavors of the same light citrus and orange zest with a few notes of tropical mango and kiwi in between. Moderately intense on all the flavors with a moderately to large bitterness on the finish. The bitterness lasts a bit longer onto the linger. A slightly above average IPA. At Boathouse near Camp Timber Tops. Pours cloudy, dark gold/amber. Not much of a nose at all. Some grapefruit, followed by bitterness that lingers.

Bottle 355 ml
Aroma:resinous, slight raw notes, high pitch, touch of smooth alcohol, mild peppery feel a la rye. Nice smooth, rounded character. Sweet caramel at end
Look: poured with medium sized, bright white top. Bottom was clear, pale amber.
Body and Palate: medium fuller body, average carbonation, longer finish.
Taste: smooth, straight bitterness with solid malt support. Reminds me of early Dog Fish brews. Slight heat at finish with vinous notes.
