Leighton (21299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2014
Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear gold with a foamy, off-white head. The nose has nips of melon, orange, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with some gooey tangerine, light piney bitterness, bready pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, a little resinous, with more ripe and lightly gooey citrus fruits, oily pine. Good stuff.

mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2014
12 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany) pours hazy copper orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out herbal hops, floral notes, and a bready caramel maltiness. Flavour is quite odd, with some weird vegetal notes, pungent herbal hops, and a bready caramel maltiness. Flavour profile seems to transition through various phases, starting with the vegetal notes, moving towards the more conventional IPA-hoppiness, and then to the bready caramel malts. Not the most refined recipe here, but it’s quite drinkable and moderately enjoyable.
