3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a lightly hazed, amber/bronze body under a spongy, cream-colored head that holds. Aroma of lemon, pine and light florals. Flavor leaves no real impression on me. While sometimes hops and malts can be harmonious, in this case they kind of just cancel each other out. Resiny lemon lingers in the finish, but as a whole this just seems a bit amateurish. ~~~~~~~~ Variety 12 pk./12 oz. btls., random bottleshop, Paoli, PA
Pours copper-orange with a one finger white head with pretty nice lacing.
Aroma is of citrus, pine, fruity notes, bready malts, sweet malts, and grassy hops. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi watery, semi bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice English style pale. trapped (3386) - New York, TURKEY - JUL 29, 2015
Draught @ Waterfront Ale House. Lightly cloudy dark prange with small creamy off-white head, piney hops aroma, low carbonation, timid grassy hops taste, medium hoppy finish. Quite timid and smooth with little citrus influence. HarryPlopper (57) - - JUN 14, 2015
Light citrus scent. Cloudy, with lots of carbonation. Minimal head some lacing.light citrus sent. Bitter taste at first, with notes of caramel and citrus. Bitter aftertaste. Very smooth mouth feel. obxdude10 (2358) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2015
Enjoyable and very drinkable pale ale. On draft at the Railroad Street. Amber color with an ample white head that laced nicely around the inside of the glass. The nose was well-balanced with a good combination light and flowery hops and earthy malts. The flavors were smooth and delicious and made this beer very sessionable. A good combination of hops and malts were in the flavors, with a hint of orange, pine and earth. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 25, 2015
12oz bottle, thanks to Vince. Bottled 3/02/15. Clear amber orange color, a bit darker for a pale ale. Good off-white head, leaving decent thicker lace. Toasty and caramel malt, mild earthy hop, touch of citrus. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter to moderate carbonation; sort of slick texture. Nice biscuity flavor. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter, good balance to the taste. Touch of a macro / metallic edge, but a very solid, flavorful english pale ale overall.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a slightly hazy orange body with a small white head, spotty lacing is left in its wake.
The smell has citrus and hops, slight malts in the background.
The taste is sweet through malts, hops become subdued, slightly bready.
The palate is about a light to medium, some carbonation hits the tongue slightly, sessionable, bitter aftertaste and finish.
Overall, decent for the style and for me, I’d probably have it again. ttoadee (1535) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Copper color with a small white head. Nose is caramel and citrus. Middle is toasted grain and marmalade. Finish is earthy hop bitterness. bigguns22 (800) - Maryland, USA - JAN 23, 2014
A very nice pale ale that is well balanced and clean. Aroma malt, hops and citrus. A nice looking beer also that is golden and has a medium white head. TATE (407) - Lubec, Maine, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle. Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Piney aroma. Pretty well hopped for a pale ale. The hops come through with a grapefruit flavor throughout. Average pale ale. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 22, 2013
Heavy hop aroma for a pale ale: pine and grapefruit, with a sweet malt undertone. Rough cream color head over lively light copper colored beer. Great bittersweet citrus flavor, very well balanced. Soft body, infinitely drinkable. One of my favorite pale ales.
