2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
I didn’t really notice the honey. This beer just seemed very bland, slightly sweet, and very musty. Earthy, but not in a good way. Medium bodied. Not much more to say because it’s such an unremarkable beer.
THOUGHTS: Not really my cup of tea. Generic but easy to drink Spring ale. Actually quite spring-like, whatever that means. Very flavorful for the low ABV.
TECHNICAL: Drank 4/28/2013. Bottle. Poured a crystal, clear, light to medium gold with not much visible carbonation and a small, pretty much white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. The aroma had moderate cookie, grain, toasted malt and cake; moderate floral and perfumy hops; slight honey; and a little citrus. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, bitter and acidic; while the finish was slightly sweet and moderately bitter and acidic with an average duration. There was caramel, honey, citrus fruit, toast, grassy hops, citrus hops, cookies, floral and perfume hops. the light to medium body was slightly syrupy with lightly fizzy carbonation and an ever so slightly astringent finish. Gold pour with white head. Nose was heavy honey, pale malt, some fruit, with a honey flavor, some pale malt, and hops. JFGrind (2046) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2013 Disjointed flavors of hops, honey and malt. All this makes a Golden bodied Ale that I do not have much desire to drink again. ganache (5897) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle. Oh, come on guys, a name like this has to be used on a Doppelbock! Clean, lightly yeasty nose, golden ale straightaway. Deep transparent golden with a short white head. Fullish body, clean and basically flavorless; there’s a pleasantly bit of golden pale malt, hint of yeast, and light bitterness. Dry, and they’re getting a nice English subtlety out of the hops here. Crisp and easy-going, essentially flawless as these things go. clueo (181) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Very drinkable on a warm summer day. A bit sweet and slightly syrupy for my taste. The honey flavor is okay. It is not heavily carbonated and the appearance is very average.

This one poured a bland yellow color with a white head. Aroam was of pale malt, grass, and light honey. Flavor was ssimilar, very bland and malty and sweet with really no redeeming qualities. MrBeerFanatic (1057) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Pours a light yellow or light copper with a boozy head. Aromas of honey, caramel, floral hops and slight grass/grain. Flavors of honey, slight perfume hops, grain, and grass. Leaves a light corn aftertaste. Lightly sweet. Definitely dig the in your face honey flavor upfront, but that’s mostly it. Fech (291) - Parsippany, New Jersey, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Usual dissatisfaction from long trail. Watery weak flavor no true aroma. Slight honey lemon notes and fizzy. BroSpud (2188) - , Massachusetts, USA - APR 22, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours light golden with a white head. Slight citrusy taste with a hoppy bitterness. Unable to detect any honey. Slightly metallic. Not a fan of this one. odinstyr (796) - Hamilton, New Jersey, USA - APR 10, 2013
Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head. Smells of grasses, biscuits. Taste is sweet and moderately bitter - grassy hops, light bread, a little metallic - no honey taste to note.
