Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold body with a large frothy white head. The nose is fruity and slightly citrusy hops over a bready malt base. The flavor is bitter and juicy up front, a fairly hefty dose of hops for Long Trail. Some light lingering hoppiness tempered by the slight yeastiness and pale malt. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent effort from Long Trail. HoppyScallywag (339) - Butler, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2015
It's a good IPA....just the same as the filtered version. I like the extra bite this one has. The bitter stays a little too long on the the tongue and palate than I like, but overall it's good.

Surprised this is rated so low, must of got a good batch or something. HAzy yellow, easy to drink, good citrus flavors. tekstr1der (501) - New Hampshire, USA - JUL 29, 2015
Not very good, and wont get again. Took me a while to get 6 of them out of my fridge, as there was always something better in there. SteveOrz85 (252) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2015
Light yellow pour with thing white head. Aroma is okay, with some citrus and pine, but kind of an "off" smell. The flavor is worse, with a bracing bite in the back of the throat, and not a smooth finish. It’s okay at best.
12 oz bottle served in pint glasss. Pours a cloudy golden color with a big rocky head wich minimizes to about a half inch somewhat quicly. Some lacimg. Aroma is hoppy and lightly malty. Primarily notes of grass and resin. Taste is lightly bitter and slightly sweet. Notes of citrus, eapecially grapefruit. Some light grassy notes. Almost juicy tasting. Bitterness is below average for an IPA, but I’m not complaining. Average carbonation. Soft mouthfeel. Very enjoyable.

This was an above average IPA. It doesn’t break any new ground. It’s solid though. I drank it from the bottle. There was a good hop and malt balance. The normal hop and citrus taste and aroma were there. Handypaul (582) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - FEB 15, 2015
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy lasting head that leaves very good lacing. Aroma of citrus and spruce. Lightly bitter, average to lively carbo, thin texture, light to medium body and a brief light finish. Better than I expected. nothingbutIPAs (59) - Hillsborough, USA - SEP 17, 2014
decent IPA. nothing special. Beer is not very hoppy, better off going with another IPA like Rebel, Sculpin or 2 hearted. Lightrider (346) - Bristol, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2014
Bottle into a tulip glass. Aroma is of grass and citrus. Pour is a honey orange. Taste is a little bitter and malt with a grass and grain back bone. Finish is a nice bitter. NewWorldMatt (6) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 12, 2013 does not count
Pint glass. Decent IPA, total score makes it seem worse than it is. Standard issue copper color, thin white head that sticks around. Lacks the vibrant floral aroma that really good IPAs have, which is unfortunate. I am big on aroma, almost as important as taste, IMO. Not terribly hoppy. If you’re a big hop fan, you’ll be disappointed. Slightly bitter after taste. Overall, not bad, just kinda leaves you hangin’.......
