The macro clone for macro drinkers. Better than many pale lagers. Again with the biscuit malt. Bigger malt presence like a Canadian lager, residual sweetness. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - JUL 3, 2004
Pretty much what a light beer should be when compared to other "light" beers. Slight fruit tastes, none of the cooked cabbage taste in previous reviews was noticed. Well done Eyedrinkale (3235) - Astoria, New York, USA - MAY 3, 2004
Clear yellow color with very minimal aroma. Flavor had a bit of fruit, which I couldn’t put my finger on. Malty with very light hop taste. Very well done for a Pale Lager. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - FEB 22, 2004
Clear and light. Tasted like cook cabbage. Malty but that cooked cabbage flavor is present. It was ok. MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - FEB 21, 2004
Clear and light with a small white head. Cooked cabbage and corn aroma. Malty flavor that lingers, but the cooked vege is also slightly present. Nothing great, and can be improved with a better fermentation.
pivo (2688) - GERMANY - DEC 4, 2002
A light beer all around. Pale gold color and a nice lacy head. Could use some more hops, but overall a nice balance. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 3, 2002
Nice area in the middle of nowhere this brewpub is located. Light flowery nose. Big head, leaving brussels lace on this pale yellow beer. Hoppy with a initial light malt taste. Thin finish.
