Tap at brewpub, pours lightly hazy golden with small to medium white head, good lace. Notes of hops, caramel, vanilla, pine, and spice. Light bodied like most of the stuff I had there. jtclockwork (17264) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Draft at Brewpub. Pours copper amber with white head. Nose/taste of caramel, pine and malt. Clean palate with a sharp hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2011

Pours copper with a white head that wuickly dissipated. Aroma is citrus, caramel and some pine. Taste is sweet with light uninspired bitters. Very soapy aftertaste. Long Valley can and should be doing better then this. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - FEB 4, 2009
On tap at pub. Pours a translucent copper with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of light citrus, some floral notes, caramel and bready notes. Flavor of the same. Bitterness is light, kind of thin.

sampler. Poured off nitrogen at the brewpub. Amber with a creamy head. Aroma is earthy and floral hops and some sweet caramel. Taste is floral hops up front with sweet caramel malt in the backbone of the beer, an assertive hop bitterness and dry finish. once again, one of the better EPA’s I’ve had so far. Brewer is doing a really good job at Long Valley. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 21, 2006
nitrogen tap-pours a retaining creamy white head that laces with copper color. Aroma is faint hops. Taste is hops with a flat bite. Mild carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2007 Joe did it nitrogen dispensed this time, beautiful copper color, dry-hopped with that earthy golding thing coming off just perfect. A great summer-drinking beer not as assertive as IPA but with more kick than the best bitter. Ps I worked at LVP&B when I rated this mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - FEB 14, 2004
Yellow in color. Hoppy and malty. Well balanced. Pleasant beer to drink. Enjoyable. Sweet. MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - FEB 13, 2004
Clear Orange yellow with a typical slight white tap head.Slight hop aroma with some off notes, but not severe enough to really detract in a pub setting. Flavor is hoppy yet rather sweet with a good malt flavor. A toch of harshness in the aftertaste. Overall pleasant and drinkable.
