Cask on the Real Ale Train, chestnut with a clinging head, nutty malt nose, dry and lightly woody body with sweet undertones, a decent quaffing bitter. BeardedAvenger (969) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2017
Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Smooth malty aroma. Hint of hops. Dark amber. Frothy white head. Medium bitter. Biscuity. Herby. Sweet caramel in the finish. A slightly off sourness hovers about. Light but also has a kinda dense mouthfeel. Carbonation more evident into the long dry finish. Alright, but not exactly fresh tasting. Could have been the cask? harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2016
