Aroma: Light floral scent of hops with sweet wheat hints. Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden caramel with a foamy frothy head that dissipates quickly. Taste: Mildly sweet with a bitter tone that stays (quite refreshingly pleasant); yet simple in its compsition... Nothing outstanding, but well rounded. Palate: Medium bodied and thin-textured with fizzy carbonation (just right). There is a primarily bitter finish, though it is rather light and short lived. Overall: The beer is very drinkable and well-rounded. I always drink a beer cool and then well chilled to assess... This one holds well, not needing to be too cold to enjoy. It is a refreshing beer, and not too sweet. You can have a few with no regrets. I’d have to say it is above average, but nothing to rave about. I’d recommend it over any big macro-brew. 15/20

Amber, boring, old hops, touch of caramel. Bland. Rather bland, forgettable. Did I mention bland and boring? Yeah.

568ml can pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that settles to reveal some spotted lacing. Aroma is light fruits, perhaps apple with some grass and grains. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a light citrus and grassy hop bitterness. A little too dark to be classified as a blonde/golden ale, however, this is a pretty tasty brew.

Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2014
568 ml can. Clear paler copper, fading off-white foam. Aroma is muted and malty, caramel. Taste is sweet caramel and bland buttery pale malt, some mild noble influence. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. Too sweet pale ale. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

568mL can, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is dry, with metallic notes and pepper. Flavour is very bland and lifeless, with dry biscuity notes, and light hops on the finish. Drinkable enough, inoffensive, but not very strong.
