Bottle, shared at game night by phantomhennes. Medium golden, hazy, with a lasting white head. Aroma is pleasantly floral with cereal undertones. Clean pale malts, nice malty body, with lovely floral hop character and a firm bitter finish. My expectations were far surpassed by this brew. This is a style that rarely excites me, but I would have this again, happily. Very nice. cobaink2 (865) - seattle, Washington, USA - APR 9, 2016
Bottle from brewery. Not much of a Pilsner fan but thought I would give it a go. It’s not bad. By of biscuit flavor with a bit of a salty finish maybe due to the hop profile. Probably won’t have again, but decent. reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 28, 2015
650ml bomber pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy with some light spice. Taste is a grassy and spicy hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness. Grainy mouth feel. Overall, I think that this is a well crafted brew for the style. I enjoyed the taste and aromas and recommend this one. Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 24, 2015
Bomber. Slow gusher, unclear orange, big lasting white froth. Muted pukey lager smell. Taste is denser grainy lager malt, a more intense grassy Noble hop influence, some faint citrus and alcohol warmth. Lively carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. A bit spicy at the end. Draft - Light grains. Clear gold with a decent white head. Grains and a long bitterness. Touches of light malty sweetness.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is very light, with not much of anything. Flavour is much more apparent, with cereal malts, alcohol and a nice earthy hoppiness. I wouldn’t guess this was an imperial pilsner, but this is a nice light strong ale of some sort. Oakes (19549) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 2, 2014
Sweetish, with a touch of caramel. Dash of bitterness. Good character, mushroomy hop. Finishes with more of the sweetish malts, light hops, splash of alcohol. Decent balance. I have a soft spot for this type of beer, so it’s good to see it brewed once in a while, and effectively at that. XaenDovet (1281) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 18, 2014
Sleeve at Darby's. Pours a clear golden straw with minimal to no cap. Aroma of sweet peas that have been left too long in a sealed bag until they get to that soggy-sweat-slime state. A bit of earthiness, wet straw, and candied sugar.
Taste is malty and bitter. Palate is sticky and medium-low dry finish. Fairly medium-low carbonation. Really odd beer. It's not gross, but I've had imperial pils before and most have trademark pils characteristics somewhere. fiulijn (21522) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2014
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Blond color, small head. The aroma is malty, not strong, a bit of cereals. Full bodied; the mouthfeel is round but also a bit oily; strong bitterness, there are not much hop qualities, instead it has some chicory bitterness that is disturbing in the final.
Nothing exciting or elegant.
