22oz bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Nose is light milk chocolate vanilla ash and coffee. Taste is more of the chocolate sweetness roast malts vanilla brown sugar molasses ashtray. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 10, 2016
Bottle. Pours a near black color with a moderate brown head on it. Nose is roasty and slightly sour with a bit of dark chocolate coming through. Taste is just a tad bitter, but a slightly sweet finish with chocolate. Pretty good beer, I’d have to say. Ferris (15275) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 9, 2015
Bottle - Lots of nice dark roasty notes, oatmeal and chocolate. Deep jet brown with a very rich brown head. Nice oatmeal texture, silky with chocolate and a touch of bitterness. Long roasty finish. Very solid. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 5, 2015
Bottle:   Black, thin to moderate foamy tannish head, little lacing.   Soft roasted malts on the
nose.   Smooth on the tongue, soft sweetness, light roastiness, a touch ashy on the backside.   Very
simple, but clean.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Soft Stout, smooth but not heavy, clean as well.
Finish shows a bit more of an ashy background.   Light sweetness too.   Solid despite being simple. Sledutah (7526) - Utah, USA - MAY 24, 2015

Dark brown with a small tan head, some lacing. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate and coffee. Taste of roasted malts, grainy and chocolate
22. Cool name, pretty cool label (though it could be more eye-catching--but the design is cool). Dig the candy apple red cap. Pours an opaque black with a surging, sudsy dark tan head that goes away after a few drinks, settling to nothing at all. Big roasty nose, a little sweet alcohol, some peanut butter. Creamy thick body with sluggish carb. Roasty dark black bread mid palate with a nice toasty peanut butter note somewhere in the background. That sweet alcohol note bounces back around, and the beer could do without that. Nice warm finish though. Ernest (7695) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2014
Head is initially small, frothy, brown, mostly lasting.
Body is black (almost opaque, flashlight tested).
Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, bitter chocolate), lightly hoppy (grapefruit).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
A simple, roasty example. Nothing special, but solid.
