Cask at the Cambridge Beer Festival 2015. Light chestnut brown, a little bit hazy. Wood and a bit of earth, turpentine, sour citrus. Light sweet taste with bitter edges. Balanced bitter finish. Light mouthfeel. Very basic but well-made and well-kept. DruncanVeasey (8402) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2013
Cask gravity, Coventry BF, 27/04/13. Tawny amber with a trace of halo. Rotting leaves, hint of halitosis, berries aroma. Neutral, chocolate, grilled pepper and Sugar Puff-hinting. Delayed cream cheese and bacon finish. Disappointing.

Cask (CWAF2012, Sat)
Sweet buttery raisiny hot cross bun aroma. Some heavy diacetyl there, that’s for sure. Was trying to be a good beer - you can tell it’s made from all the right ingredients, both rich malts and tangy hops, but they can’t fight past the diacetyl, alas.
