My Bottom Line:anders37 (26678) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2017
Grapefruit candy, honeyed cereals and resinous bitterness are met every step of the way by alcohol warmth in this classic take on the Double IPA.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the misty dark blond.
-Body is on the sweet side. This is definitely a sipper.
-This one isn’t trying to emulate the NEIPA standouts of Trillium, Tree House, Alchemist, etc.
Draft @ MBCC 2017. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy bitter grapefruit finish. swesson (461) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - JUL 13, 2017
On draft at Parry's. Pours an orange-gold and makes a very thin white head. Aroma is of dank pine resin, hops, and grapefruit. Tastes of pale malts, caramel, and fresh hops. The high abv is well hidden in this little gem, so be careful.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a hazy tarnished gold with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, grapefruit and light peach. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit and light peach with a crisp dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish. Beaver (1807) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 17, 2017
16 oz can. Pours murky dark gold with a medium creamy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.puboflyons (3438) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 17, 2017
The aroma is earthy malt with floral fruity spicy hops and a little mint.
The flavor is sweet sugary fruity malt with resiny piney hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is a bit watery.
Overall, a decent fruity DIPA.
From the 16 oz. can dated 06/09/17. Cloudy light amber-yellow pour with a lingering white foamy head. Modest carbonation. As for the aroma my first sensation is pineapple followed by some orange or tangerine and then way behind all of that comes the sweet bready malts. No booze for 9.5%. The body is medium and smooth. The taste brings out many of the same vibrant fruity and citrus notes as the aroma and it ends slightly sweet. I pick up no alcohol in the taste. A very nice DIPA. nimbleprop (8437) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 10, 2017
16oz can pours a clear orange with plenty of frothy, white head. Nose has booze off the top, muddled citrus, herbs, some paper, soap. Flavor has more fruit, guava, muddled stone fruit, muddled citrus, soap, paper. Finishes full bodied, bitter and boozy. ben4321 (6535) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2017
16 oz can from Half Time, 6/5/17.
Murky orange color with a nice, clean froth of off-white head. Plenty of streaky lace sticks to the glass.
Slightly sweet aroma, orange / tangerine, pineapple, a bit of apricot as well. Some sugary notes on the flavor. Fairly reserved bitterness.
Drinks like more of a 7% type beer. Was pretty surprised to see the ABV is all the way up at 9.5%.
