Draft at the source. Hazy deep dark a,ber color, fluffy tan head. Aroma of sweet malt. Tastebis malty as well, with a bit of toast and black pepper.

omhper (25346) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 1, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy chestnut brown. Roasty malt aroma. A dryish beer dominated by roasty malt, creates strong coffeelike flavours. A careful hop rate lets the malt flavours dominate and results in low bitterness.

mcberko (18389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 5, 2016
On tap at Lord Nelson, pours a hazy dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, bready caramel malt, and toffee. Flavour is quite malty, with notes of toffee, bready malt and bready caramel. Light-bodied despite beige malty-heavy. Solid.

Oakes (18167) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 6, 2014
Amber, slightly hazy and the aroma is a bit caramelly with a hint if bubblegum. Med caramel, sweet, with a little bit of earthiness.

kermis (14125) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2011
Bottle shared with Deanso. Amber pour with small head. Aroma of malt and some spice. Flavour malty with caramel but quite mild with a slightly unpleasant bitter bite.

DuffMan (10549) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 20, 2009
Bottle. Cloudy dark tea-amber. Interesting rum-raisin toffee aroma. Same flavour on the palate with a touch of yeasty fruit. Medium bodied, low bitterness, a little watery.

deanso (10178) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - JUN 7, 2011

JoeMcPhee (9448) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2005
Very dark brown beer with a thick tan head. Sweet malty beer with a bit of spicy hop aroma. Flavour is a bit chewy, but not all that interesting. Slightly spicy, a bit herbaceous and vegetal. A touch of chicory and faint fruit. Doesn’t really come together.
