Tap. Pours crystal clear pale amber, medium off-white head, dissipates quickly leaving good lacing. Aroma is very light and hard to detect, with faint notes of caramel and biscuit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, with a faint nuttiness.
Light body, lingering bitterness. Bland. adnielsen (10605) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 9, 2014
On tap @ the downtown San Jose location. Amber orange appearance that’s fairly clear with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is a touch nutty, toasted malty, somewhat herbal, and clean. Pretty easy drinking beer. A bit on the sweet side but not horrible. Fair amount of caramel. A touch of citrus. Pretty well balanced. Not bad. batneil (710) - - JUN 8, 2013

Amber lager with caramel, toast and pine aromas, a balanced malt and hop flavor, and a quick finish. Mouth feel is light, almost watery, although not as much so as their Pale Ale. A nice, refreshing beer. anders37 (26194) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2012

(on tap) Clear copper, good head. Little aroma: subtle but pleasant - malt and tea perhaps. Excellent mouthfeel. Medium body; smooth, almist creamy, from fine plentiful carbonation. Flavour is rich with a honey sweet malt to start and a good long bitter finish. An excellent beer. mike67 (1195) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 15, 2010
Samples at Los Gatos Brewery. Amber hue with nice head and lovely carbonation. Aroma of caramel malt and some hops. Full, very crisp, creamy body. Peppery hops dominate caramel malt in the mouth. Long, dry finish. Too hoppy for Octoberfest but still good brew.
