Bottle. Muddy brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of oak, fruit, toasted malt, alcohol notes. Taste of dried fruit, lime, spicy yeast, mild sour cherry note. Good complexity with layers of fruits. Sweet start with a dry finish. Nice. ryanfolty (2604) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - DEC 23, 2015
December 23, 2015 - bottle from Total Wine. Brown pour with some nice head, huge pop after taking out the cork. Aroma was malty, sweet, wood and some spice. Taste was a bit weird, had some of the sweetness, wood and spice, but the tequila was very strong and didn’t blend well with the other flavors. thomashall (999) - New Hope, Minnesota, USA - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle shared by Brad, thanks. Cloudy brown caramel pour. Strong tequila, wood aroma. Taste pretty much follows. Not bad. Ktwse (5464) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2015
Pours clear, deep brown with low, nearly flat, light tan head. Aroma of tequila, cedar wood, citrus, toffee, alcohol. Taste is initial mild tart with tequila barrel notes before the sourness builds into the finish. Lingering alcohol sweetness. Body is rich and somewhat sticky with soft carbonation. Wow this is agressive. Aroma of prune juice, honey, pumpernickle loaf soaked in grape juice. Taste is very sweet mild tartness and really heavy on raisins. Overwhelming and aggressive but does get smoother as it warms.

Bottle 375ml. Thx Fred82.
Pours dark brown with low beige head. Some lacing. Aroma is of vegetal stuff, alcohol. Taste is of acidity, vegetal stuff, alcohol. Weird. Palate: Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Alcohol warmth. Overall: Well. OK I guess. Boozy. czar (9430) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 18, 2015
pours unclear light brown, orange-red tint, with a small light beige cap, some retention and lacing. fruity agave, peppery mint, red fruitiness - some cranberry skin acidity; toffee, some tingling spices, smoky chipotle, some sweetness - caramel agave juice, sweetish toasted maltiness. moderate carbonation, light body, lightly tart and spicy finish. awkward agave/tequila flavors. UPDATED: DEC 1, 2015 Nose sweet caramel sweet tequila agave vegetal notes. Light toffee. Taste slightly acidic and slightly salty. Sweet caramel, slightly vegetal. Finish vegetal sweet caramel. Quite different. Not sure if it’s in a good way. Interesting but not something I’d buy again. douglas88 (9632) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 30, 2015
12.7 ounce bottle thanks to Alen. Pours a dark red brown color with a medium white head. A really unique nose of wood and sour strawberry. Rich malty base, chocolate, caramel, big oak, the tequila is really big but there is no heat, more fleshy slightly sour cactus, tastes a bit like sour berries. I’m gonna see our Lady on the label as a reverential cheers- Salve Regina Mater misericordiae. Very sticky sweet beer, but very drinkable. Dangerously so. jimhilt (2626) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 22, 2015
Pours a two-finger light tan head leaving some lace. Very dark color, no highlights, yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Sour ale nose, flavor is almost like a sour ale but more a sweet & sour ale. Clean finish. No alcohol burn - the very high (13.5%) ABV is hidden. Seriously expensive at $18.99 for a caged & corked 375ml bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, MA.
