Pours pitch black with a thick caramel colored head. Aroma is of bourbon, oak, cocoa, dark chocolate, some booze, and oats. Heavier and smooth palate with minimal carbonation. Bottle. Black color with beige head that goes down quickly. Aroma is boozy, caramel, fudge, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is chocolate, booze, caramel, cocoa.Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Too boozy for me.

(375ml bottle from Kihoskh, no date but maybe early 2016) Pours pitch black with a small medium brown head that leaves no lace. Aroma of dark chocolate, toffee, toasty cacao, coconut, bourbon, nuttiness, moderate roast, cookie dough, light alcohol. Flavour is quite sweet with lots of dark caramel, marzipan, lots of bourbon, candied oranges, golden raisins, vanilla, light cacao, some earthy coffee, toasted wood, warming alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium, a bit slick, quite softly carbonated. This bottle has some age on it and the adjuncts might be a bit retiring as a result, but this isn't quite as complex as I hoped for - a bit sweet, barrel heavy and boozy. Taste is sweet chocolate, roast, caramel, bourbon, some vanilla, a hint of oak, and a buried nuttiness. Very light dark fruit occasionally peaks through towards the end of some sips. Lightly bitter dark chocolate finish with some lingering wood. Very boozy. Medium-full body. Soft but lightly prickly carbonation. Smooth, oily mouthfeel.
