Bottle shared at the Santa Cruz boxset tasting. Huge brett aroma. Really awesome mix of lemon, chlorine, horseblanket. Flavor is a step down, woody and tart but not a lot else. Combine this aroma with Track 3’s flavor and you have a 100th percentile sour.

From notes. Enjoyed this at Mickey’s 30th birthday bash on November 05. 375 mL bottle. The pour is a golden orange color with a thick white head that dissipates rapidly. The aroma is definitely funky, lightly sour, nicely peachy with a hint of oak and a touch of dusty barnyard to it. It’s really well balanced. The flavor has much of the same types of things. Light peachiness, good funky barnyard, citrus zest, and a nice sour. The mouth feel is a little thick, but brightly carbonated with a lingeringly sour and peachy funk finish. Hazy orange, smal off-white head. Aroma is tart, funky and fruit with peach skins, apricot, lemon, brett
Taste is slight sour, fruity and juicy. Finish is slight dry, tart and fruity with some juicy peach notes, some lemon juice, minerals, grape skins, oak.
Medium bodied, small bubble carbonation.
Nice tartness and fruitiness.
Bottle bought through Drikkeriget. Pours hazy reddish golden with a very small offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with crackers, dark bread, lemon juice, grapes, hay, dry soil, barnyard, vinegar and lemon zest. Taste is sour, slightly malty and slightly fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with balanced malts, fruit and acidity. Very nicely balanced. I love how the malts are there without overwhelming and that the acidity is balanced and not huge in that charming American way. Nice!

375ml bottle acquired via trade on BA. Shared with deyholla. Pours a nice copper rose hue, a gentle haziness but largely transparent with a very pretty color, rich glow. Frothy whitish head stays as a decent ringer, laces nicely. Aromas are funky and a bit fruity, dried and dark fruit, subtle plum and date meet subtle raisin, earth, some lactic appeal. Firmer bretty funk, some mellow oak, cobwebs and some vinous and black cherry character. Initial is lighter bodied, some expressive middling acidity compliments gentle estery fruit character, earth, and cobwebs. Some mellow oak, wine barrel and a bit of cranberry. Earthy, funky, a more sustained wild offering that restrains the acidity, let’s the brett express itself a bit better. Some tannic barrel appeal, some dryness and lingering funk, subtle yogurt, melon, and crab apple. A bit of earthy and grainy sweetness, on point wild yeast with a pretty masterful blend.
