375 mL bottle. Originally reviewed sometime in 2013. Deep murky reddish brown. Small head. Thin collar.
Peach aroma is strongest. Lots of charred oak aromas, too. Acidic smelling with some caramel sweetness behind.
Less acidic tasting than the nose implied. Brettier, too. Peach still comes out. The caramel is completely bereft of accompanying sweetness, which is suprising. Dry finish.
Pretty sour and very dry. Medium body with plenty of carbonation.
The bright tartness is good, but I’m not convinced on how it plays out with all of the residual caramel flavors. koleminer20 (3798) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - NOV 30, 2016
From notes. Enjoyed this at Mickey’s 30th birthday bash on November 05. 375 mL bottle. The pour is a lighter amber color with a thin egg shell colored head and no lace. The aroma is pretty interesting. There is a nice over ripe stone fruit flesh going on. There is a pretty hefty alcohol here as well, but it balances pretty decently. There is a light acidity, and a good bit of funk going on. The flavor is similar. There is an over ripe fruitiness and a strong alcohol. There is a decent sourness and a hint of alcohol. There is a little more of a messiness, but it’s interesting. Lightly vinegar controlled and a decent barnyard on the back end. The mouth feel is lighter and crisp with a nice carbonation with a hint of sour flesh and a vinegar bit adding in. It’s pretty interesting. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. hackobock (4063) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2016

Light hazy amber with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is sour, fruity and malty with some vinegar, cherries, citrus, toffee, bourbon, leather and a touch of gastric acid.
Taste is sour and light sweet.
Finish is sour fruity with citric and some acetic acid, light malty sweetness with toffee, raisins, some bourbon.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, slightly dry.
Bottle bought through Drikkeriget. Pours murky reddish brown with a small offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, caramel, lemon juice, grapes, vinegar, hay, moist soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is very tiny sweet, sour, malty, fruity and tiny funky. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tart, mouthpuckering, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is very tiny sweet and sour with bread, caramel, lemon juice, sour grapes, vinegar, hay, moist soil, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Big beer with lots of underlying complexity. Sadly all the good in the beer is hidden by layers of heavy vinegar acidity. AdmiralVernon (1197) - SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2016

Bottle at Linus tasting 161015. Hazy amber beer with a small beige head. Tart vinous aroma, citrus, grapes, solvent notes. Tart vinous flavor, grapes, raisins, woody notes. Quite ok. deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 1, 2016
Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a hazy deep amber with a tan head that dissipates completely. Aroma has acidic cherry with a touch of peaches and a bourbon bite. Flavor has sour cherry with a decent amount of bourbon, caramel and some sweet grains TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2016
375ml bottle acquired via trade on BA. Shared with deyholla. Pours a deeper carmelized brownish hue, a gentle haziness with toasty chocolatey color and glow. A subtle bubbly ringer dies down and laces minimally. Aromas throw a punchy carmelized and richer bourbon barrel appeal. Lots of vanilla, subtle brown sugar and coconut meet punchy cherries, sweet and tart. Some peachy nectar, subtle sour red fruit, a spiciness. Carmelized, biscuity, and vanilla meet caramel sweetness, a bit more oak. The cherries set the pace with the peachy nectar coming in subtly but sufficiently. A bit tart, the wild yeast is subtle, vinous and a bit fruity overall. Initial is significantly more tart than the nose let on, punchy Cuvee De Tomme and peachy nectar really catch on. Lactic zesty punch, sour cherries and some vinous fruit character. Peach acidity, sour cherries, subtle wine barrel as bourbon, vanilla, firmer oak character punch the back of the palate nicely. The sweeter, firmer base faded away and lighted with still that carmelized and slightly oxidized appeal, largely covered by a potent acidity, some firmer wild yeast, lots of redisual fruit character and punchy tart appeal. A nice oak appeal is rich, the nose here showing a lot more of that potent Bourbon barrel appeal, carmelized, coconut, vanilla and spirit. Really nice sourness grows as a wave into the backend, matching the tannic appeal, funk and cobwebs. A tannic liveliness, rich barrel nose, pretty pour and a lot of flavor going on. A really neat evolved blend of Angels Share, subtle carbonation, but the acidity and bite, potent vinous and sour character from the wild and CdT appeal really make this interesting.v gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - SEP 13, 2015
bottle at home. Pours reddish dark amber, no head. Very rich nose of peach, salted caramel, sweet cherries, deep oak. Medium body, sweet & sour (a bit too sour), very fruity and a dry finish. Taste is oak, some tart cherries and stewed peaches, dates & figs. Very nice! gunnfryd (15097) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 19, 2015
