375 mL bottle. Originally reviewed sometime in 2013. No pop, no head, no carbonation at all. Yellow and slightly hazy.
Smells of lemon and stone fruits. Acidic and a like funky. Smells a bit lambicky.
Tastes more acetic than I expected. Lemony with lots of wheat graininess. Very citrusy.
Flat, but otherwise easy drinking and a pleasant sourness.
Nice golden sour even though its acidic component is just a little messy and at times too intense. koleminer20 (3704) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - NOV 30, 2016
From notes. Enjoyed this at Mickey’s 30th birthday bash on November 05. 375 mL bottle. The pour is a darker yellow orange color with a thick white head that vanishes pretty quickly. The aroma is really fruity and sour. There is a light maltiness to it, but the bright citrus and oaky funk really play well together. This is nice. The light vinegar notes are well balanced out. The flavor is similar. The bright citrus notes are really things I like. The oak and funkiness balance it out, and there is not really any alcohol left behind. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a bright carbonation and a lingeringly sour fruitiness to it. There is a touch too much vinegar on the back end, but it’s good. I like it. hackobock (4045) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2016

Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a near clear peach with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of oak with sour lemon note and a decent amount of acid. Flavor has sour lemon and some earthy peach with a good amount of oak supporting. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2016
375ml bottle acquired via trade on BA. Shared with deyholla. Pours a nice glowing golden orange hue, a subtle haziness and loose bubbly whitish head dies and dissipates quickly. Pretty summery glow and nice swirl. Aromas are funky and sour, lemony and dry appeal meet firmer funky brett, dust and cobwebs meet lactic twang, lime and yogurty life. Subtle spiciness, rustic grains are bready, some straw and gentle wheat and spice. Dry, sour, some unripe green grapes, lemon, and subtle melon. White wine, oak, more lemon and sour lactic twang are firm overall. Initial is lighter bodied, a bit funky and yogurty with melon, green grapes, some bready and rustic grain appeal. Firmer sour twang but nothing acedic or harsh. A nice oaky appeal, yogurty life is firm. Lemon, crab apple, tart grapes and cheesecloth meld into some funkiness, bready malt. Cleaner, Berliner like appeal at times that shows more fruit, firmer oak and that funk presence as you press on. A nice lighter, spritzy appeal with firmer lactic appeal, nice oak and funk support. Pretty enjoyable, lighter offering. You wouldn’t think this ended up at almost 8% ABV by drinking it. Certainly a nice blend that flows pretty nicely overall. Potent punchy fruit and sour nose, more funk and smoothed out lactic appeal as some barrel appeal takes hold. Nice enough pour, nose that grabs you. Good flavors and flow. Tasty. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Pours a hazy pale golden yellow color with a one finger white foam head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Funky, earthy aroma with lots of oak and barnyard character along with some citrus acidity and lactic funk. Burnt wood, lactic cheese, sourdough bread and lemon juice along with funky bugs and acetic vinegar.
On the fuller end of medium bodied with a strong lactic funk character along with some dry oak, citrus acidity, lemon juice and sourdough bread. Wheat/berliner like notes come through but there’s a stronger acetic presence than expected. Wasn’t any in the nose but the flavor has some vinegar/acetone. This becomes more bearable as my palate adjusts, but I just wasn’t expecting it. Other than that, this is a really good beer with a nice balance of tart sourness and lactic funk. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - SEP 13, 2015
