RBWG16. The bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dates and raisins and a murmur of funk in the background rimmed with a yeasty sort of note. The taste delivers big tartness with berry like tart notes and a bit acidic and leading into a dry tart finish. The flavor is very tart forward and different than the aroma. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 4, 2016
Bottle at RBWG. Thanks Dak! It pours a dark brown color with a khaki head. The aroma is very nutty with some bourbon and cocoa. Smells like a big, malty rot box beer. Some moldy, tart dark fruits like raisins and plums. The flavor is much more sour than the aroma would lead you to believe. Sour plums, grapefruit, nuts, balsamic and cocoa. Very interesting and quaffable. I have to say overall, this one held up well. Very sour. beastiefan2k (4179) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - APR 7, 2015
12oz snifter at Brouwer’s 10th Anniversary party. Surprisingly similar to Decennium but aged and sourer. I get some light coffee roast in the finish mixed with an aging acetic quality. A little undercarbed (as the usual for LA). mcberko (19803) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 30, 2015
On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex, with notes of balsamic vinegar, tart dark fruits, and wild yeast - very interesting nose profile. Flavour is along the same lines, with vinegar, wild yeasts, dark fruits, pitted fruits, and wood. Highly complex. A totally unique flavour profile with the yeasts and barrel aging after all this time. This has held up beautifully. Wonderful. DSG (15403) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 16, 2015

750 ml bottle shared by phaleslu. Pours a dark copper/brown color with a large, but rapidly disappearing beige head. The aroma and flavor have big dark fruit character, tart, acidic, some spicy notes, wood, cherry, good carbonation (especially for LA), solid sour brown that is drinking nicely with the age. 750 ml bottle opened to celebrate the completion of my PhD. Gusher, but we didn’t lose much of it thanks to some quick thinking. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is prunes, figs, dark fruit, mixed with honey and wine. Taste follows, with a hint of some kind of spiciness in there as well. Nice mix of rich, dark sweet fruits with a pleasant sourness. Full body with lively carbonation. One heck of a fine beer. burg326 (5628) - Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2013
750ml bottle corked and caged poured a dark brown color with redish highlights. Aromas of sour dark fruit, prunes, and some wet wood. Flavors are the same sourness peels off the enamel on yoir teeth and sour dark fruits. Solid beer, thanks to Cleg! Cory knows how to throw it down! UPDATED: JUL 8, 2013 Final beer of an amazing long weekend in Seattle and Portland, with ajax25g at the Schmidt castle south. Gusher. Brown color, massive tan head. Aroma of sweet and sour prunes, candied dates. Taste is softly sour dark fruit, early beginnings of port wine. Delicious. hopscotch (11409) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 1, 2013
Bottle (dregs)... This beer rocks!… Murky brown pour with a fizzy, khaki, short-lived head. Fragrance-wise, sour cherries and vanilla really stand out. Medium-body with airy carbonation. The flavor offers heaps of fruitiness, breadiness and tartness accompanied by an undercurrent of yeasty, tannic bitterness. Astringent, dry finish. Big-time thanks to 50belair for sharing this world class beer! To me, this is miles better than the 2008 Imagination saison.
