Bottle shared by Wickedestman, many thanks Otso! Hazy yellow with white head. Funky, dry with some apricot, lemon zest. Slight oak. Delicious. douglas88 (9972) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 2, 2018
Well, that took awhile. Anyway, bottle at Toronado Seattle. Pours a clear yellow color with a large white head. A big complex nose, woody, lemons, sour cobwebs. So smooth. Sharp lactic lemons. Sweet vanilla, more dominant sour woody notes, a bit of sharpness. Damn great. I could drink a few glasses. Sammy (13348) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 15, 2018
2017 vintage at toronadp San Diego. $80 it does not ever go lower on price . Yes a perfectly clean golden sour. ACHops (1765) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 2, 2017
On tap @ Toronado Seattle, 2017 version. Pours clear light golden with very thin watery white head. Aroma is fresh cut green apples, raw oak, ripe white grapes. Taste is super crisp, super light, oaky and vinous, earthy and rustic without being funky. Bracingly, deliciously tart without being palate destroying. Really stoked to finally try this. I’m sure older bottles would be amazing as well. It is outstanding, though clearly not worth the astronomical prices at Toronado(s) or on the secondary market. Never seen it at Lost Abbey but I believe it’s rarely available there, perhaps at a more reasonable price. I guess in a sense you’re paying for the rarity. MarcoDL (5677) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 14, 2017
At Hopishop 2017. Thank you kind stranger, for lending me a few sips. Aroma has tart, citrus, horseblanket and funky hay. Taste of citrus, funky hay, horseblanket, tart, oak, white grape and a long finish. Very refined and flavorful, worthy of the praise it often gets.
