Draft at monks cafe. Really nice, floral and fruity nose. Great almost creamy mouthfeel. Lots of lacing on the glass. Nice bitterness on the finish.

Bottle. Nose is is funky, brett, tangerine, hint of white chocolate, brie, potato (oddly), lime, floral. Taste is leather, tangerine, lime, floral, lots of funk, hint of the white chocolate, greens, cereal, milky, doughy, a very dry bitter finish which has citrus rind and the faintest hint of resin. Further investigation yields grass, cloves and a little spice.
A very nice beer which is a Saison to my mind. 77ships (9834) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 11, 2015
750 ml. bottle split by 3 @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Presumably some years on the bottle but I cannot find any date so… Deep orange, small white head. Nose is mildly fruity, dull, metallic, sugary with herbs. Taste is sweet milky, sugary, candy cereal, sugar, dough, milky yeast, esters. Milky yeast body. Meh, I would expect way better from Lost Abbey. Possibly a fresh bottle works way better. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 12, 2015
On tap at Monks Cafe. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Aromas of fruity yeasty esters. Slight Belgian banana yeast in there. Pretty "beery" beer. Easy drinking. Mortlach (2347) - Rome, ITALY - SEP 6, 2015
750ml bottle (vintage 2012) shared at Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), thanks Dino! Pours amber with a minimal head. Aroma of honey, lots of oxidation, sponge cake, overripe fruit. Flavour is medium sweet, unbalanced, one-dimensional. Light body, watery, almost flat. Too much old...

Bottle at a tasting in Rome 4:20 pub on 27/08/2015, many thanks Dino for sharing this. Quite an old-vintage bottle 2012, signs of aging around the cork. Mmmmm. Anyway, pours an orange hazy bright color, tick white cap. Nice. Nose: some signs of oxidation, metal, honey. Not terrific neither that bad. Mouth: thin, easy drinking, a bit flat. I think a bit too old but still a Belgian Ale should age better. BroadestTom (446) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Aroma yeast, funky,
Appearance golden, hazy, white foam,
Taste medium sweetness,
Palate medium body, soft carbonation,
Overall a nice refreshing beer that I would suggest to a friend radagast83 (8074) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Draft at The Confessional. Poured a light amber, orange color with a small white head. Light fruits, some mild spices make up the aroma. Light pepper, fruit, and a touch of humidor on the finish. Pretty tasty. Muggus69 (2494) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - AUG 8, 2015
750mL corked & caged bottle. Bottled 11/9/14
Good loud pop on opening. Pours a hazy orange-straw body, fluffy white head holds.
Aroma somewhat subdued - cereal malts, husky, hay-like, distinct yeasty spice; peppery, dough, minerals; Saison-like. Floral hops, touch of citrus.
Medium bodied, lively slightly creamy carbonation, drying texture good length though.
Rather pleasant on the palate - cereal grains, bread dough, white pepper, earthy spice, grassy, floral hops. Dry finish, lingering bitterness is lifted but well balanced.
Something really enjoyable about this beer - not sure what really, but everything works nicely; has a certain rustic charm about it too. procraste (472) - FRANCE - AUG 7, 2015
