Cloudy orange brown beer. Good white head. Smooth with hints of orangey marmalade and a touch of grapefruit. The fruit doesn’t taste like hoppy fruit though! Slighty bitter finish. Smooth and very drinkable.
750 ml bottle at Papago, shared with Jason. A pretty average blonde ale, a few characteristics of a saison, but overall not very interesting. cgarvieuk (26374) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 23, 2009
Bottle at home ... amber ... thin white head ... sweet pine ... light sweet fruity hop ... juicy .. little cream ... littl ebitter .. possibly a little oxidiesed. omhper (25955) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 16, 2008
Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Pils-like hazy golden with brief lively head. Grassy malt with butter undeneath. Dry, yet fruity with medium body. The grassy malt and hay-like hops makes it reminiscent of a pilsener, but fruitier. Mineraly finish with lingering bitterness. The mouthfeel is cleaner than in my dreams, but it remains very drinkable. I really appreciate the effort to brew tradition style laid back beers, but this is no real masterpiece yet. For ultimate perfection perhaps 10 generations of practive is needed?
