Entered to celebrate my rating number 18,400. Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, wood, and lemon. The flavor is sour with strong notes of grapefruit, brettanomyces, lacto, and wood, leading to a very tart finish. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2010

Bottle courtesy of tarheels86 - thanks GT! Cloudy golden with very thin white head. Aroma of seawater and hay. Flavor begins with sweetish lemon and progresses to a salty, vinegar type of funk. Interesting and complex, but slightly thin. Good, but not outstanding. cgarvieuk (25987) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 24, 2010

Pre ZBF. Bottle courtesy of Alex 4:20 - Cheers Mate! Second time I’ve had this but no better than the first! It just goes too far for me. Pale hazy gold beer. Light dry palate. Lemon - sharp and sour and acidic. Really don’t understand this type of Sour - my loss unfortunately! 2.4

Tasting at Bruce’s new pad. Thanks to Colin for the opportunity of trying this overrated beer again! Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Light palate, slightly crisp and with fine minerally carbonation. Medium sourness, a little wood. Sherbet lemon that is slightly acid. Finishes semi dry with an acidic aftertaste. My palate has come round a lot more to this style in the last 3 years but I still don’t see what is special about this one.
Bottle 75 cl. Hazy and opaque yellow with a small, off-white head. Distinctly tart aroma with lots of acetone and Brett. Medium body, sweet fruits at first but then a massive Brettiness with lots of astringent acetone that almost feels choking. Interesting. 110709 Leighton (22307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2013
Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - many thanks to Colin! Pours cloudy yellow with a frothy white head. Nose has rich and tangy lemon, good tang. Light to medium sweet flavor with sturdy acidic bite, sour and lightly jammy lemons, a bit of funk. Medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Well and sour to finish, moderately acidic, further jammy and tangy lemons. Solid.
