This beer has put in some time in the dojo since the first release, because it has definitely leveled up into an incredible American Wild, possibly my favorite ever. Reminds me of a lemon square. Damn impressive.
09-09-17 // taster, draft. At Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London. Finally a Long time want done. The Hype was great but I think this beer can stand it. A wordclass sour ale. Well balanced. Some lambic character but with ist own uniqueness. Hay, grainy Body with slight salty Aromas and a medium sour, tart Feeling. Excellent. Johnsense (1804) - - DEC 23, 2017
Batch 2. Golden pour, smaller head, dissipates fast. Sour aroma, apricot, tart fruit, peach, white wine, green apple, green grape. Actually somewhat harsh on the palate, massive amount of green apple, overripe fruit, acidic, phenolic. Medium body, finish is a bit harsh. Better fresh? bad bottle? either way something of a disappointment. Desverger (13727) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2017

Very old rating found on a loose page while cleaning, possibly from 2010. Notes are from a tasting, possibly RB gathering in Grand Rapids- Hazy straw color, tart, fruity aroma. The flavor is also tart and fruity with a good balance of malty sweetness. It's funky, though maybe not as funky as some, and extremely good.

September 2017 - Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. As 'Lost Abbey Duck Duck Gooze'. Golden yellow, translucent, still, foamy off-white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is grapey, apple, straw. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is apple and melon, some straw, little grapefruit and gooseberry tartness, very crisp into the finish. Nice.
