Desverger (13122) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2017
[email protected] Extravaganza 2017, London - dark brown coloured pour with beige head. Medium sweet and toasty malty, with some caramel, treacle, toffee, brown sugar, dried fruit notes, some fruity citrus shred spice, bourbon wooden accents and assertive spice into the hot boozy finish.

Bottle pours hazy dark brown with a small fading tan head. Aroma is minty, bourbon, ginger, orange. Not particularly impressive. Flavor is boozy, vinous, citrusy, herbal, sweet. Full body with minimal, dare I say Lost Abbeyesque, carbonation. Meh, bit of a letdown.

Capa (3490) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - NOV 19, 2017
Murky brick red pour. Spice, raisins, plum, sweet malt, ginger, orange marmalade, mint. Medium bodied. A bold and complex beer but not at the top of my list.

Sweet, dark fruits, dark molasses, caramel, spices. Dark, hazy gold, tiny, creamy, off-white head. Light bitter. More dark fruits, dark malts, light charcoal, bitter, lightly sour, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent. Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 17, Canada Water.

TET (3230) - Kaarina, FINLAND - OCT 28, 2017
Bottle 12.5% abv. A very dar brown beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has anise, dar and dried fruitness, hint of alcohol, something unspecified and interesting spicyness. Taste has fruitness of raisins, anise, some ginger and also other spicyness, hint of alcohol. Medium+ bodied, low carbonation. The barrel is probably there as a wooden end in the taste. Level of spicyness is high and almost too much but still balanced. Tasteful beer.

Lore (2919) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 1, 2017
brown colour, medium sized dense, though not too stable beige head; aroma of licorice, herbal liqueur, bourbon notes, orange zest oils, maybe some vanilla and intensive alcohol; is the same with burnt plum jam and some cocoa notes; spicy alcoholic aftertaste; good quadrupel, but definitely far from the best ones; surprisingly does not have enough body for the high ABV

375ml bottle - mart! at 12.5% (3:3:4:2:7=1.9)

Bizarre spicy aroma, clove, or something numbing. Dark, flat. Slick sweet palate, dead. Sweet boozy taste, spices. Mint in the finish, and a horrible huge alcoholic burn. No, no, no mint, I hate mint. And the booze. Oh god, the booze.

Juks (1105) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
375ml bottle, 12.5% ABV, thanks martjoobolut. Pours dark reddish brown colour, almost no head. Aroma is sweet, jasmine, jagermeister, toffee, orange peel, liquorice. Taste of mint, herbs, liquorice. Almost full bodied, average carbo. I like liquorice and it's liquoricy, nice brew, quite well covered alcohol, nice.
