brown colour, medium sized dense, though not too stable beige head; aroma of licorice, herbal liqueur, bourbon notes, orange zest oils, maybe some vanilla and intensive alcohol; is the same with burnt plum jam and some cocoa notes; spicy alcoholic aftertaste; good quadrupel, but definitely far from the best ones; surprisingly does not have enough body for the high ABV FatPhil (16891) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
375ml bottle - mart! at 12.5% (3:3:4:2:7=1.9)Juks (936) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
Bizarre spicy aroma, clove, or something numbing. Dark, flat. Slick sweet palate, dead. Sweet boozy taste, spices. Mint in the finish, and a horrible huge alcoholic burn. No, no, no mint, I hate mint. And the booze. Oh god, the booze.
375ml bottle, 12.5% ABV, thanks martjoobolut. Pours dark reddish brown colour, almost no head. Aroma is sweet, jasmine, jagermeister, toffee, orange peel, liquorice. Taste of mint, herbs, liquorice. Almost full bodied, average carbo. I like liquorice and it's liquoricy, nice brew, quite well covered alcohol, nice. Marduk (8206) - Reval, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
375ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Very dark chestnut color. No head. Sweet, herbal, alcohol, mint, wormwood, licorice in aroma. Sweet, wormwood, raisin, dark fruits, plums, oak, roast in taste. Menthol, sweet and spicy in aftertaste. Covers alcohol in some ways. Weird brew. suurjuust (3674) - ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
375ml bottle shared by Mart, thanks! ABV 12,5%. Dark brown beer, very small head. Nose is thick, with bourbon, ginger, oak, vanilla. Flavor is caramel, bourbon, barrel, ginger and vague oranges, lots of sweetness. Finish is bourbon, booze, oak and mint plus licorice. Boozy and bourbony.

Bottle, 12.5% abv (from beergium). Aroma is spicy, wormwood, booze, malt, vanilla. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, spices, malt, vanilla. Finish is sweet, ginger and boozy. Overall: ok, didn't like the nose at all. mezr (151) - California, USA - SEP 24, 2017
On tap at Bailey's Taproom. Dark brown with brief small beige head. Odd aroma that's hard to place. Chocolate, fruit of some sort, some kind of spice. Confusing. Sweet taste, anise, something burned, and a bit of alcohol. It's not bad, but it's odd, and not like any other Abt/Quaddrupel I've had. I don't think I'll have another. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 21, 2017

Dark brown color with small head that disappears quickly. There is some anise in the the aroma, light mint; that's not very good. The flavor on the contrary is very interesting, like a Christmas Pudding, dark fruits, raisins, brandy, figs, spices. Boozy too.
375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is intense, with lots of bourbon barrels, lots of ginger, a touch of orange, and caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with a nice mix of bourbon barrels, alcohol and light ginger, with a touch of dark fruits and some oranges. Very hot, but pleasantly warming, with a finish of bourbon and ginger. Very good. fiery1 (1561) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 20, 2017
375ml bottle @ the office. Pours a dark almost opaque medium brown colour with no head. Nose is oranges with a mix of ginger infused bourbon. Flavour is caramel, some vanilla, a little dark fruits, oranges, with a light boozy bourbon. It is quite flat carbonation wise but oddly enough the ginger replaces that with a tongue tingling spicyness. I like it, but not sure I could drink this all the time.
