COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A massive beer in every sense of the word. A stronger and more contemplative version of our Lost and Found Ale. Judgment Day is the base beer for our Cuvee de Tomme. Many of the Trappist Breweries produce a version of beer which ages incredibly well for many years to come. And, since none of us knows when the end of the world is coming, we suggest you stock up with lots of Lost Abbey beers so that when the end of the world magically appears from no where, you’ll have a beer or two on hand for even the stingiest of angels. Available in 750ml bottles and on draft at select inspired locations.

Editor's note. This is a new incarnation of Mother of All Beers, previously brewed at Pizza Port Solana Beach.

Bottle shared at tasting. Unclear brown colour, large tan head. Aroma of raisins, dried fruits, caramel, biscuit. Taste is medium+ sweet and light to medium bitter, raisin, dried fruit, caramel, alcohol, notes of red fruits. Boozy and fruity finish. Medium to full body, average carbonation. Nice quad, but too boozy, slightly disappointing.

Very close to a black pour with tannish head. Fairly subdued aroma at a double digit alch. Dark fruits, licorice, clove, oak and spice. Flavor contains a lot of heat, clove and spice, raisins, plums, dark roasted and burnt notes and rum. It is dark. I enjoy the attempt at a super darker than black tasting quad with some fruity notes, though it doesn’t hit me as a super meshable cocktail.

Aromat: bardzo słodki, gęsty i zawiesisty, rodzynki, suszone śliwki, figi, karmel. Po chwili wchodzą jasne owoce, gruszki, banan, morele, brzoskwinie. Wygląd: barwa ciemnej miedzi, śliczna, bardzo wysoka, kremowa piana średniopęcherzykowa. Smak: słodkie, gęste, treściwe, pełne. Rodzynki, karmel, suszone śliwki, gruszki, jabłka i figi. Dobre piwo. 7/4/8/4/17

Piana obfita, strzępi się, opadając zdobi szkło. Kolor ciemna zmętniona czerwień. Aromat, owocowy, wiśnie, truskawki, poziomki, rodzynki, słodowy, lekko karmel, nuty kwaskowo winne, drożdże, minimalnie alkohol.Zapach złożony, bardzo przyjemny. Smak, pełnia, słodycz, karmel, bogate nuty owocowe, jest ostrość przyprawowa, korzenna, gorzka czekolada, drożdże. Wszystko tu gra, goryczka zaznaczona wyraźna, alkohol ułożony wyczuwalny jedynie w szlachetny sposób, nasycenie średnie do wysokiego. Piwo w odczuciu gładkie, wielowymiarowe, mocarne, złożone, nie męczy, Brawo WOW

750 ml. bottled 11/08/2016. Deep mahogany body with a lasting half-inch of spongy, st9icky foam. Nose of prune, plum, bread, toasted walnut, clove and dark toffee. Flavor is the same mix. Medium-heavy body has a little too much fizz and an easy drinking balance with only a trace of the big abv peeking through.

Aroma:
Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dried fruit red fruit, chocolate and roasted malts.

Appearance:
Opaque brown/dark brown beer with heavy yeast and with a slight beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dried fruit, red fruit and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. What a perfect flavour full of surprisingly red fruit and chocolate. Perfect appearance and a great palate as well. Oh man I am really looking forward to the Cuvee de Tomme.

Raisins and alcohol, some wine-ish scents. Taste is semi sweet and quite alcoholic. Very full, thick, milky. If only there was less alcohol..

0.75l bottle. Super dark ruby body with a thick beige head. Huge dried fruit notes in the aroma with sour cherry, plums, raisins, chocolate and cocoa. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, orange zest, figs, raisins, nutmeg and some floral hops. Smooth yet complex with the alcohol well hidden. Awesome.
