Pours dark brown, with cream head.
Aroma licorice, raisin, roasty, coffee, cinnamon, chocolate, dark fruits, malts.
Taste full rich sweet, followed by a dark choco hoppy bitter. There is long dark aftertaste.
Mouth-feel full creamy, oily, tinteling carbo.
Wow awesome beer, complex nose and great taste. Maybe bit unbalanced but doesn’t hurt the beer.

330 ml bottle at home. Pours deep brown with an incredibly creamy and longlasting head., ligh almond peel colour.Intense malt nose, caramel and toffee, honey. Pfjew, very sweet mouthfeel, almost immediately followed by full and rich hopiness, ending with some chilly sting. Taste is toasted bread, roasted malts, charcoal smokiness. 375ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Somehow cautious and indifferent aroma, hints of chocolate, unspecific dark fruit, spices, cinnamon. Taste is moderately sweet, dark malty, hints of dark fruit, plum, grapes and the like, dark chocolate, chili, cinnamon, some warming alcohol in the finish. Pours dark brown with off white head, lots of carbonation in this one. Smells funky like a sour ale with dark fruit, roasted malts, yeast, woody country meadow with a hint of sweet chocolate. Its reminds me of a sour ale and a big impy stout could be infused. Taste is malts, hay, sour cherries, and spices. The finish is creamy, medium flavor, and not too thick on the palate with tons of carbonation. Good beer but not at all what I was expecting.

The bottle is marked, with a straight face, best before 12/21/12. No idea on the true age. Sinister aroma of dark fruit and spices, with a touch of chocolate. Almost like a big stout in this regard. Dark brown color, turns red under light. Prickly taste that is bitter and also hot, along with a solid sweet malt background to confuse things. Punches the upper palate, right back into the sinuses. Heavy and difficult to put down in a reasonable time, which I don’t say often. Bottle:   Deep dirty brown, huge frothy light beige head, nice lacing.   Big whole wheat bready and dark pitted fruit nose.   Smooth on the tongue, bready, somewhat heavy, with a soft alcohol background.   Not as
musty as Belgian examples, but comes across as similar in every other aspect.   Smooth, hides the 10.5% ABV very well.   Doesn’t feel as big as others tho.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate   Slight grape popsicle flavor
on the backside, which to me screams artificial.   No idea how to otherwise interpret that.   Sweet finish, malty, but not all that musty or barnish as other examples.   The dark pitted fruit isnt as heavy either.   The

Brune, col blanc cassé moyen.
Arôme garde un bouquet typique belge, mais très agréable. Fruité noir avec qcq notes d’épices, sucre candi et ce profond bouquet chocolaté et raisin. Le tout garde qcq effluves pimentées qui apportent une note de chaleur à chaque respiration.
Palais offre ce profil belge typique, le tout est épais avec un niveau alcool qui se ressent. On note bien le fruité noir, surtout au niveau des raisins. Cannelle reste discrète et accompagne un profil malté conséquent; entre caramel et chocolat se terminant sur un subtile biscuité. L’ajout des piments arrive juste en fin de bouche et ne dérange pas trop, et sert à bien lier les ingrédients.
Effervescence moyenne pour un profil restant belge avec tjrs cet accompagnement de raisin, sucre candi et fruité noir prenant. Une version agrémentée de piments qui fait honneur à la Judgment Day. Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2013

Brown pour. Medium to bigger sized beige foamy head on top of a deep dark red colored beer.
Aromas of red fruit, strawberries and berries, yeast, chalk, leaves, wood, hint of peppery dust, cinnamon and meat, some malts, toast and liquorice (wood).
Flavours of spices like pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon, dry, bitter, malt toast, berries, some strawberries and a hint of cherries, barley malts, nuts, leaves, some autumnal herbs and hay toast.
Aftertaste is toasty, malty, peppery, woody and porridge.
Low to medium carbo, creamy and lightly blown spicy mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture.

Bottle via trade. Pours a cola color with a small off white head. Aroma is of strange dried fruits, pepper, chilies, chocolate and over-ripe borderline rotted fruit. Taste is strange, earthy pepper, chilies, light heat, chocolate, dried fruits, light vegetable notes in there as well. Not my thing.
