Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - this one I got at THE Kris Wines. Pours rich, amber-brown with a creamy tan head. Nose has dry fruits, some rich bread. Medium to big sweet flavor, brown sugar, toffee, cherries, hints of coffee and cocoa. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Mildly warming to finish, lots of ripe, dried fruits, dusty cocoa. Rich and pretty well balanced. Nice depth. Very drinkable. Rasmus40 (21989) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 6, 2013

Dark brown color, almost black, with medium sized creamy head.
Mild aroma I roasted malt and spices, some pepper. High carbonation, good flavor of roasted malts and dark chocolate, lean in the beginning rounder later, with pleasant piquant spiciness.
It gets better given some time to settle an oxygenate. Very good.
Bottle from BOE, split with JF, 20/04/13.
Opaque mahogony brown with a thin bubbly tan head.
Nose is dark malt, Belgian yeast strains, brown sugars, soured dark fruits.
Taste comprises dark fruit, molasses, sour and tarte fruit notes, demerara sugar, yeast, touch of booze.
Full bodied with light spritzy carbonation, boozey finish.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of light spices (sort of cinnamon and anise), some dark fruits, caramel malts, and yeast. Flavour brings out complex notes of spices and traditional quad flavours, with cinnamon, a hint of chile and tamarind, followed by loads of yeast and dark fruits. Finishes slightly spicy and highly yeast. Mouthfeel is quite intensely carbonated, much more so than the regular Judgment Day. Good stuff, but I highly prefer the regular JD. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 20, 2013
