375 ml bottle purchased fifteen months ago at Brothers Provisions ($6.00). Pours a hazy golden amber hue with two fingers of fluffy white head having good retention. AROMA of dusty cardboard, honey malts and old bread, with a spicy and peppery element. FLAVOR of muted lemon, juicy honey, bready malts, a tangy hint of the brett, and some pepper toward the finish. Dry finish and light on the palate. Sounded good with the bretty, the New Zealand hops, and the raisins, but it is hard to find all of these things. Kind of a rare miss from Lost Abbey. Or did I just age it too long? But the label says it will "evolve" for many years to come...would like to try it fresh now. (258, 977) FlacoAlto (4228) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - AUG 12, 2015

Excessively carbonated, I had to pour this over the sink so that the overflow from my large Tripel Karmeliet tulip doesn’t make a mess. I end up wiht a five finger thick, pale tan colored head, that inclueds a finger above the rim of the glass. The beer is a pale honey color that shows a lightly hazed, straw / yellow hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells of dried grasses, pale malt husks, and a solid pale grain character that leans towards crackers. Behind this is a light fruitiness that smells a touch of pears, with a bit of bright Sauvignon Blanc like character. Green tropical fruit like characters, as well as a touch of flint like firmness.
Effervescent, with a medium texture to the body, though the beer is not really very sweet. A bit of mustiness, as well as a yeasty phenolic character adds a bit of bite to the finish, along with a bitter hop note that is a touch herbal, but also has a spicy tropical fruit character as well as a peppery finish. Soft pale grain cracker notes add a roundness to the whole of the flavor. There is definitely a woody pepper character to the finish, and it lingers nicely. Fruit notes of pear, and a definitely present, white wine like grape fruitiness.
Not bad, perhaps a touch too much body.
02/07/2015 Istanbul. AdamChandler (5206) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 15, 2015

Bottle thanks to Brian. Bottle is at least a year and a half old. Slightly hazy color with still good carbonation level, aroma is straw, light barnyard, pale grain, yes indeed there is golden raisins. Interesting. Flavor also reflects the golden raisins with weak Belgian yeast through the center. WillRunForBeer (2803) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 13, 2015
The mouthfeel is heavy with sweetness. The malt has for sure taken over with yeast nearly dead at this point. But with that said; it has held up really well. The raisins make this different.
375mL bottle. Gotta clear the palette between meads. At least 18 months on this. Pours yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is lemon, wet hay, pepper. Flavor is straw, barnyard funk, lemon, apricot and dry oak in the finish. fiammanghilla (990) - Genova, ITALY - MAY 17, 2015
Bottiglia 375ml comprata da hoppines e bevuta a casa.
Chiara torbida con schiuma non troppo persistente.
Secca, acidula davvero ottima, ricorda un vino bianco

Golden cloudy color. Light funky, saison like smell. The taste is salty, spicy and a little to much lively carbonation bubbles. Very dry in the aftertaste.
