(Rating #5792)

"frikkin tasty dry saison from Lost Abbey. Citrusy hops, a little barnyard funk, slightly tart, and very refreshing. A little bit of white grape comes through in both the aroma and flavor. "

Bottle. Lively and sparkling beer. Aroma of champagne and dry white wine, with a hint of pepper and farmhouse. Complex taste of grassy yeast, grapjes, brett and a nice spicey white pepper afterburn. Quite an original saison.

Lite platt utan krispighet. Kanske inte helt okej. Dåligt skum och syrligheten indikerar något fel men ändå drickbar och riktigt god.

A - dead flat pour of glowing apricoty straw. Zero head. S - nice enough nose. Bretts, Belgian yeast, cloves, straw, raisins, and spice. M - flat and flat. Wow. Really flat. Dry and bitter. Metallic. Flat dead palate. T - bitter dry grasses, cloves, Belgian yeasts, astringent and dry lemon peels. Very light fruity notes. O - bad bottle. Truly unremarkable.

Crystal clear sun golden colour with a frothy medium lasting white head (the beer gets hazy pouring the rest of the bottle, nice yeast cloudiness developping). On the nose aromas of white grapes, spices, barnyard and zesty fruit develop. A lovely bright carbonated texture develops with light fruity yet musty flavours with hints of spicyness and a brisk hop dryness in the finish. Light body and well balanced.

Bottle. Hazy bright golden body with a thick lasting white head. Looking really good, screaming come and get me! Ok I will. Yeasty aroma of pepper, fruit, light funkyness, grapefruit, taste quite dry, flowery, again light funky, citrus and peach, mild peppers which last long through the aftertaste, along with herbs from the italian cuisine, and the obvious fruity Nelson atste. Very nice.

Bottle. The look is cloudy, big big foamy white head, and mustard colored. The smell is yeast, herbs, lemon, fruits, perfume, oregano, slight funk, and earth. The taste is herbal, pepper, fruit, yeasty, wheat, Brett, and good.
