Slightly hazy yellow to orange body with a thin white head. Aroma is malty, spicy, fruity, funky. Taste is balanced medium sweet, bitter, and a good finish. Lovely beer. dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - AUG 22, 2014
Hmm, so this is the flaw with ratebeer. Excellent beer. The grape is very clear in the beer thanks to both the Sauvin and the raisins. Takes a while for the other flavors to set in, especially the pepper.
Drink this as it was an IRS, take your time with it. Take one whiff from the glass and smell the white pepper.

Crisp, very hazy and super blonde coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of pears, apples, white grapes, light hops and a hint of flowers - a lot of character, but all mild. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent brett and floral notes hit first then show some subdued yeast and grassy flavours, coupled with a very light and not very sweet white grape flavour. Aftertaste hits more from the brett and yeast than anything else with not much body and that dry herbal flavour coming at the end. Overall, a decent saison, but a nicer easy-drinking ale for the summertime with some good super mild complexity. That said, if this didn’t sport the label on the front it would have a much lower score. A decent beer for sure, but not a great saison nor a beer worth searching out for. I’m happy I didn’t spend much on this, otherwise I’d be even more harsh on this one. I sampled this split 37,5 cL corked and caged bottle, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 30-November-2013 for US$5,03 sampled at home in Washington on 08-August-2014. Bottle. White pepper essence but I'm not getting the raisin. Very dry. Not my favorite saison but smooth and clean. Some Belgian qualities. Brett is subdued. falco242 (398) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 4, 2014
A hazy banana color with nice lace, it has some fruit and funk in the nose. Not my favorite, as the white pepper and raisin taste good but don’t really make the beer great. Solid, but I’ve had better saisons. ekstedt (6773) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2014
