Pours a one finger cream head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Opaque dark brown color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Malt & oak nose and flavor has malt sweetness with some rum and vanilla, high ABV, 12.5%, is hidden. Beyond expensive at $18.95 for a 375ml caged & corked bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

pictoman (1084) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 31, 2017
Poured from 12.7 fl oz bottle. Murky amber brown with quickly dissipating off-white head. Aroma of acetone, mild rum, dates, and some wood (started off smelling almost nail polish-y on the pour, but after I let it sit for a minute, the dates and wood came out more). Taste is pretty similar... too boozy, doesn’t blend well.
