COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The history of the bible and religion is indeed the struggle of good vs. evil. Our Serpents Stout recognizes the evil of the dark side that we all struggle with. This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

On tap at Harrys Hofbrau in RC. Chocolate, coffee and fig. Opaque with dark brown head. Full flavored chocolate - finishing with bittersweet and chalky bakers chocolate. Bitterness answers the call with floral hops in support. Wonderful.

Rich inky black in the glass with a thin sticky tan head. Huge roasty black malt nose with a little touch of anise and earthy licorice sweetness. Smooth sticky flavor thats at once roasty and molasses-y sweet with dark chocolate and roasted black malts, some light char, more dark chocolate and a sticky yet smooth roasty sweet mouthfeel. Complex as hell with loads of layers. Dark and roasty and licorice-ish with anise and chocolate.

750 ml bottle of Systembolaget. Pitch black with a medium size mocha head, some lacing. Rich aroma, licorice, roasted barley, coffee, cocoa nibs and toffee, could sniff this all night long! Full-bodied, high/medium carbonated, gets softer after some time, creamy and silky mouthfeel. The taste follows the aroma, however, with slightly less depth. Licorice, toffee, cocoa nibs, roasted barley, coffee and hints of vanilla. The alcohol is well hidden in the taste but is pleasantly warming in the finish.
