Sampled at RBSG. A funky tart apple aroma. Big tart funky flavor, too. The wild yeast runs rampant. It really works with the sour apples, too. But just a hontnof sugar emerges and it adds a nice aspect. So nice. Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - JAN 30, 2014
Bottle shared by OldMrCrow (thanks!) a few weeks back. From notes. It looks almost identical to aardmonnik, which we sampled side-by-side, but with more bubbles / better carbonation. Aroma: musty, dusty, charred, smoky. Completely different from aardmonnik. Oak and leather. Hawt. Taste: BBQ smoke, char, brown sugar but much drier, sweeter up front and tarter as well. Fucking awesome. Holy shit this is delicious. A little chocolate in aroma / taste. Chocolate and cherry. Tart. Dry finish. Medium body, slick oily texture, soft but appropriate carbonation (emphatically not flat). Overall: Wow. Superb. Holy damn. Valgreen (768) - DENMARK - DEC 11, 2013

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a hazy reddish brown color with a minimal fizzy off-white head with virtulally no lacing. Moderate to heavy sour yeast, wood and dark sweet aroma. Medium to abundant body and a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sour flavor with a medium to heavy dark sour finish of long duration. This is a complex standout beer. alexsdad06 (10636) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - NOV 14, 2013
375 ml bottle shared with the group. Pours a clear cola brown with auburn highlights and a few sparse bubbles. The aroma and flavor have a tart, acidic character, some sour cherries, wood, vinegar notes (not in a bad way), some sweet malt notes, light to medium bodied. I enjoyed this quite a bit. Cork popped out, but the carbonation was on the soft side with the taste. Seems to have held up very well. b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - NOV 14, 2013
375 ml bottle to snifter (shared by alexsdad06). Looks good; a cloudy Flanders reddish brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells and tastes good too; tart and funky with a bit of cherry. Nice on the palate. Good beer!
