Tasted on election day at the TEA party. Hazy golden color. Citrus, bread and the caramel apple tea pretty overpowering. Banana flavors thrown in also. Wasn’t reaching for more of this. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 6, 2010
Avant Garde Farmhouse Ale with Caramel Apple Rooibos Tea. 1st rating. slightly murky brown pour, off-white head. This one does very much taste like a good caramel apple. Sweet caramel candy chews (not artificial tasting), apple, lightly fruity, sweet malt, bread, and herbal notes from the tea. Tasty, but probably to sweet to drink any large quantity. A pint of this would be a bit much.
