UPDATED: NOV 25, 2009 750ml bottle. Cloudy light orange, hazed and milky with a white head. Intense eggy and fatty nose, full of sulfuric acid, lactic acid and sweaty, tart, tangy, fatty eggs... smells incredible! Notes of mandarin orange, mango and peaches show up heavily when it warms more towards room temperature, giving it a unique tropical quality that works well with the lactic/eggy/goaty scents. Very effervescent, very prickly and active, alive, zesty on the tongue. Sharp lactic acid, zesty lemon juice, orange, pineapple and mango fruit, all of this overwhelmed by an intensely sharp white vinegar note. Body is refreshingly light, and the typical filmy and slimy texture that I find in most Lost Abbey beers is absent. Awesome beer, gueuze like but with very forward and fresh tropical fruit. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Tasted at Lost Abbey Barrel Fest. Light gold in color with aromas of light sourness and peach. Great tart funkiness with complex delicious finish. Really great beer. wetherel (1888) - Cupertino, California, USA - NOV 18, 2008
On tap at Lost Abbey Barrel tasting. I have a new favorite Lost Abbey beer. Veritas 004 is awesome. Light yellow color. Great aroma of peaches, brett. Light sourness. Super easy to drink. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - NOV 18, 2008

Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma of funk, sourness, peach. Flavor is sour peaches, funky, cherry, barrel, malt. Easy drinking, and quite nice. Glad for the chance to try this one.
Re-rate from bottle.
Shared by avengedpoet at Bockyhorseys place. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is funky, sour, peach, lemon zest. Sourness is a bit more bold than the first rating and carbonation much higher from the bottle. Gonna have to bump the rating on this one because the bottle was quite a bit better.

On tap at Lost Abbey. Pours a cloudy light gold with a small white head and zero lacing. Nose is unripe sour peaches, lemon peel, sour cherries, oak and some funk. Taste upfront is sour citrus... lemons and ornamental oranges, more unripe peaches, sour cherries, funk, light vinegar and oak tannins and even some malt character hidden in the background. Medium soft mouth feel. I had a couple samples, but I may have to drink a bottle and really get into it a bit more. It’s very good. I actually liked 002 a bit better, but they’re both outstanding.
