Bottle (750 ml). Shared by Fred82, thanks a million! Beautiful hazy salmon with little to no head and no lacing. Aroma is winey and fruity (peach, raspberries, strawberries, grapes) with funky notes and light earthy notes. Taste is moderately sour with winey notes again, fruits (grapes, peach, raspberries), wood, funk, earthy notes and dust. Low carbonation (but not flat). Winey mouthfeel. Moderately dry. Complex and well-executed Sour. Good balance, interesting fruityness. Not overpowering. Godofthecellar (678) - NYC, New York, USA - APR 22, 2013
Poured into a lost abbey tekku. Poured a bright yellow with bits and pieces of pink grape skins. Nose was sour grapes with a hint of stone fruit. Flavor was grape, sour with a nice funk from aged brett Silphium (3198) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - FEB 18, 2013
Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Hazy medium orange body with sediment, thin clumping off-white head. Tart, sour nose, cobwebby and lemony. Cobwebby body, grassy and dusty; tart and sour, rather Cantillonesque, biting and clean. The grapes provide a tart, tannic quality reminiscent of cranberries. Dry with little sweetness. Outstanding. Consumed with all ten Veritas beers on April 14, 2012. Shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael.
The beer is yellow with pink highlights, and mildly hazy with a thin, fleeting head. The aroma offers grapes, assorted tart fruit, oak, funk. Another winner from The Lost Abbey. This beer is extremely flavorful and brings a powerful and aggressive tartness in the finish. Wow, this flight of Veritas (004-007) is pretty mind blowing. Highly recommended. I would love to have this again.

375 mL bottle at City Beer in San Francisco, served in a dessert wine glass. Pours cloudy reddish-amber with a few bubbles and virtually no head. The nose has huge, intense notes of sour grape and apple combined with floral and earthy notes with a Brett funkiness. The flavour is intensely sour up front, with apples, grapes, berries and a touch of oak barrels. It acquires dusty, earthy notes and progresses to a long, peppery finish that is still quite sour with grape skins. On the palate, it is medium in body with a dry, astringent texture and virtually no carbonation. Overall, this is a very nice sour. Very complex, but also very sour. 2012-02-17 JoeMcPhee (9549) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 24, 2012
NOTF 2010. Deep amber pour with a lightly spicy nose. Bright cheesy funk. Rich and peppery with a nice zesty wildness. Chewy palate with some sharp tartness cutting through it. Full on funk fest. Awesome. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2012

Bottle shared at Eagle Rock during RBSG 2012. Reminds me very much of Temptation, but with a more harsh sourness, perhaps more acetic. Lemony with lactic and citric notes, mild grape sweetness, crabapple. Modest funkiness. KyotoLefty (10675) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 22, 2012
Bottled at RBSG. Salmon pink with lace. Acid nose, grapefruit and other citrus, wood, barnyard. Quite sour flavor, grapefruit, dust, quite funky. Very sour and a bit chocking. Nice stuff. The best of the Veritii I tried today.
