GABF 11. Pours golden cloudy. Buttered popcorn/caramel corn in nose, light horsey funk, maybe a little floral. Not very sour, definitely less so than 007. Light bodied, quaffable and delicious.

Sour&Bitter2012. Clear golden of color with a white head, An aroma of horse, sour and dry - no sweets. A flavor of pineapple dry, sour and fresh.

Poured into a tulip. Had an incredibly trying time pulling the damn cork out. 2.00 A: Hazy yellow brown color. Lots of carbonation which makes several fingers of white backwater foam. It falls quickly and leaves just a few wisps of lacing. 4.00 S: Big herbalness and meadow funk. Chamomile, mint, peaches, lemon. Acetic sourness. Hay, wildflowers, and dry woodiness to round things out. Smells pretty good actually. 3.50 T: The taste isn’t bad, but it’s not as good as the nose. It’s surprisingly tannic and astringent which somewhat masks what would be a huge herbalness. Again chamomile, mint with white tea and maybe some jasmine. Hay, wildflowers, funky woodiness. Lactic and acetic are about equivalent. Much better than I was expecting 3.50 M: Lighter medium body. Surprisingly moderate carbonation. Astringent aftertaste, but not too distracting. 3.50 D: I was expecting this to be ass, but I suppose time has done this well. Seems like LA should have stuck this in the basement and made it Veritas 14 when the time came. ★ 1,054 characters DavoleBomb, Aug 17, 2014

750 ml bottle thanks to Jer. A: Cloudy orange, white head. N: Phenols, lemon and grapefruit, some peach, green apple, undercut by the cheese and vinegar at the bottom. T: A bit smoky and tart. M: Light body, medium level of carbonation. O: I’m not really sure what the point was here. It’s an experiment, but I prefer the Scotch flavors with darker beers and not sours.

750ml bottle thanks to Jer. Pours out a cloudy straw topped with a small head. Nose is amazing lemon oak dusty notes and lots of tannins. Taste is more of the lemon oak barrel and tart.

Wow. The line-up of all those Varitas in a vertical at the RBSG Grand Tasting by Jared was unreal. They were all good but this one was amazing. Poured a slightly cloudy gold color with a wisp of a white head. Nose is a huge aroma of funk and fermented fruit. Body is bold and mouthfeel lively. Flavor is a wonderful funk and they is a long dry funky and earthy finish. Did I mention funK?

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy blonde with a tiny white head. Nose is very wordy, with loads of tannins and oak. Flavour is aggressive with the woody tannins, bringing out loads of oak and wood. Very tannin heavy. Fairly aggressive carbonation. Excellent.

Good complexity & depth, wild aromas, deceptively more-ish. Ages really well, real treat for RBSG ?15.

Bottle - Lots of lemon and citrus with som mango. Cloudy gold with a small head. Light vinegar and mango with a clean finish. Very easy drinking. One of the more drinkable ones.

Bottle thanks to Jared, shared at RBSG Grand tasting. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, wood, earth. Thick mouth, strong funk, hay, yeast, fruity, dry finish, really enjoyed this one.

Transferring my old review.
I brought this to the Inaugural "Imminent Liquidation Bottle Share" Event. Bottle poured into a taster glass.

A - Pours hazy straw yellow with a strong one and a half finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty lacing down the glass.

S - Some earthy funk, dulled citric acidity, dark tea spice, oak, and some light astringency. The strong dry funk is a bit overpowering but still not as bad as some of the other reviews.

T - Very similar to the nose. Plenty of dry funk, light citrus acidity, oak, and herbal tea. Finish is quite dry with some lingering funk. Not too much pucker in this wild, more of a light funk. Compared to some of the other wilds at the event it was a letdown but on its own it was not too bad.

M - Medium body and flavor with moderately high carbonation. When we opened the bottle it gushed some out and foam filled the space where the liquid used to be. Dry, crisp, feel with plenty of it lingering thru the finish.

O - Pretty good. This was much better than some of the reviews made it seem. It was not as good as the other wilds we were drinking but it was still pretty good. Glad I got to try it.
