Bottle thnx to bobochamp ! Pours murky yellow, no foam Smell is typical american sour . dont get that much of the peaches ... some notes of it, maybe Taste is full, sour , peaches alright , but nowhere near fou foune ( where we all think about when we hear sour and peaches ) . Dry , funky, sour peaches . Good carbonation . I like it very much , but given its price, id take fou foune ...

75cl, at 8%Vol (010 written on the the cork and back label), new exclusive American brew Anno 2011, with peaches, thx to Secret Santa!, very complex sour fruit brew, sour/fruity and slightly woody, balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, very good brew, yet very expensive!

In short: A ton of fresh peaches in a funky blonde ale with controlled acidity/sourness. Refreshing and surprisingly highly drinkable.
How: Bottle 750ml shared at pre-HFFoFA 2013 tasting. Bottle was approximately 1.5 year old at the time.
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is very bright, full of fresh peaches and with a vibrant clean rustic funk, a bit like smelling a fresh Cantillon Foufoune before the Cantillon barnyard funk takes over. In mouth the beer has a full body that feels like because of the very lively carbonation, pleasant mouthfeeel. Taste is fresh juicy peaches, some grapefruits, a lot of lacto funk with the sourness and acidity under control. This beer is refreshing and it has just the right amount acidity and sourness, its rarity is really the only thing that makes it unsessionable. I just checked my ratings and this is the 22nd time I give a Lost Abbey beer a rating of 4.1or above, we may occasionally joke about some Lost Abbey carbonation problems but clearly at the end of the day Im a huge fan of this brewery. I shitted my pants when I saw someone opening this bottle at the tasting, not really because I was excited, more because Ive got other problems.

Moving over an old review.
Thanks to whoever brought this one to the Hill Farmstead CW pre share.

A - Pours a hazy golden peach color with a nice one finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving small trails of lace on the glass.

S - Smells of fresh peaches, mild funk, woody oak, lactic sourness, some basement must and a bit of sweet pale malt. Lots of funky peaches, love it.

T - Starts off with fresh picked ripe peaches slowly giving way to oak tannins, basement must, light funk, greek yogurt, white wine and a bit of sweetness from the malt. Finish is quite dry, lingering long after the finish. Lots of flavor, just with the peaches came through a bit more.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, tart feel with a nice dry ending. Quite easy drinking all things considered.

O - This was an awesome peach sour. It was going up against a bunch of other Peach and Stone Fruit sours and really held its own, it was in my top three. I would love to have this again in the future.
