Pours a cheddar orange with a nose of cedar, leather, and horse must. Flavor is sour leather horse blanket from a musty attic. Tingly on the tongue. Wowsers.
Pouring at the Night of the Barrels on the Friday night of EBF 2012. Pours golden with a thin white head and a few floaties in it, interesting. Big sour funky acid on the nose. Sour acid, sharp lemon. Spicy with sharp lemon. Spicy acid, bright and lemony. Long biting acid with vinegar on the finish. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Tasted from a corked and caged 750mL bottle at FoBAB 2011. Pours cloudy pale yellow with an average white head that slowly recedes to thin, even lace. The nose is super sour and fruity with white wine vinegar, peach, and white wine vinegar, signature Lost Abbey sour. The flavor is intensely sour with all of the white wine vinegar, lemon acidity, peach, and barnyard funk from the nose. The body is medium with a sticky tannic texture, average carbonation, and a long sour peach and funky finish. JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - FEB 1, 2012
FoBAB 11’ Not really my cup of tea, but I can see why those who like Sours rave about it. For what it is it is quite good. Pours a gold with a thin fizzy head. brew3crew (166) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Yellow bus Jr! Nice funky smell but wouldn’t have guessed peach. Subtle peach taste that is super, super nice. Peach comes through when it warms up

Appearance: Pours a bright yellow gold with a amber tint. Atop sits a white film and white edges.hopscotch (11104) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 21, 2011
Aroma: A mixture of funk and lactic notes. Some bretty petting zoo funk. Peach pit.
Taste: Mild peach tartness, lactic acid, Vinegar. A little brett, pineapple, peach fruitiness. Not much wood or tannins.
Mouthfeel: Tongue curling, full bodied. Fizzy.
Overall: So delicious. I couldn’t control myself, I was like a kid with a cup of soda. It was just so tasty and inviting, I couldn’t slow down with it. I’m not in the "It needs more time" camp. It’s drinking good and sour right now.
Bottle… This beer rocks!… Pours hazy and yellow with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Good retention. The nose is heavily acidic, offering funky and fruity notes of aged cheese, peaches, lemon zest and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. The fruity flavor is quite tart – bordering on sour – with a light peachy sweetness that does cut into the acidity a touch. Tarty, fruity finish with a rumor of salt. This world class bottle of beer was provided by giarcsr! Ceebs25 (503) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - DEC 21, 2011
At FOBAB, Chicago 2011. Honey orange and cloudy, with some light, misty white head. A vinegary nose, with some nice mixed fruits, especially sour peaches, and very light oaky wood. This slightly underwhelming aroma leads the way to a flavor that is a totally different animal. Its still not terribly complex, but a great, slightly acidic tartness permeates with peaches and berries. The finish finishes with light oak, and prickling citrus peach. The end product may not be mind-blowing overall, but still quite tasty. Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Bottle shared by Bankhead. Thanks! Pours a hazy straw-lemon color with a thin offwhite head. Fair head retention. Aroma of peaches, citrus and mild funk. The taste is big sour peaches, citrus and a mild funky finish. Intense taste. Light bodied and very refreshing. 50belair (3643) - Florida, USA - DEC 20, 2011
