Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is fairly fruity with moderately strong cherry notes as well as some raisin, plum and cassis. Medium light caramel notes with hints of toffee and toasted bread. Light oak and red wine notes.
Pours a slightly cloudy, amber red with some burnt auburn colors and a large, frothy, slightly tan head that steadily recedes and collapses into itself leaving a small film on the edges. No lacing and faint legs.
Flavor is fairly acidic and slightly acetic with a light sweetness. Flavor is moderately fruity with cherry notes followed by lighter raisin, cassis and plum. Hints of berries as well. Medium light caramel malt with lighter toasted bread notes and hints of toffee and nuts. Light oak notes and a hint of alcohol.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice sour red, but the style isn't really my jam. I prefer the slightly sweeter, less acetic Belgian versions.

750 ml bottle @ Radikal whale slaying, Thessaloniki. Thanks Jan! Hazy amber red color with off white to beige head. Aroma is yeasty and light malty, funky, tart cherries-berries, dark dried fruits too, vinous, wood, alcohol. Sweet and moderate acidic taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the radikal whale slaying. Thnx to Fonefan. Pours dark, unclear amber, small white head. Smell is intense, sour, glue-like intensity which is tyipical for the style-exreme examples. Taste is full, intense, strong sourness, rather dry, bit fruity, some oak. mild glue character, way less than the scent. nice.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Leather bomb US sour. Delicate mouthfeel, but hyper white wine vinous too. Really deep lemon-lime sour tones. Really grew on me. Excellent.

From notes. Enjoyed this during the 2nd Annual Kelly’s Island Bottle Share on September 18. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a nice dark ruby color with a thick light tan head that fades very quickly. The aroma is good. There is a strong oak and a heavy cherry. There is a nice sour and tartness to it. Lots of lemon and light lactic sour in this, but it’s really good. The flavor is much of the same. Lots of sour cherry. There is a little sweetness in there, but the sour is big and I like it. The oak and citrus poke through on the finish. The mouth feel is light and a little syrupy with a brighter carbonation and a definite funky sour cherry on the aftertaste. This is pretty good. I like it.

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL + Yarric! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Epic beer Tasting 2016”. # 2216. Dark brown reddish with brief tanned bubbles. Nose is oak, sweetish cherry, low glue, lactic sour profile, there are similarities in the sour profile when compared to the 5 Veritas beers which we sample. Taste is big on sweet cherries, they have a moldy overripe profile, cherry compote, bit too fermenting, beer is rather fizzy with glue sourness, low vinegar, moldy fruit, low charred oak. Least favorite out of the 5. Fruit is a bit too fermenting, bit too fizzy, messy. Okay but not a clear win for me.

Head gone in seconds; copper-amber beer. Wood, oak, red fruit, horseblanket, Bretts and others. Faint wood, quite lactic acid intoned; very faraway chocolate, as pralines with cherry & lemonfilling. Quite slick, good carbonation. Excellent, even when I prefer the 013.

Bottle: The aroma consists of tart cherry, lemon, and light acetone. It pours a hazy orangish-brown with a small off-white head that fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. The flavor starts with starts with moderate cherry (equal parts sweet and tart). The finish has moderate lemon, citrus, oak, and a touch of acetone. It’s light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.
