Inspired by one of their previous draft-only blended sours (Spontaneous Cheer) this is the 16th iteration in the Veritas series. Veritas 016 is a blended Oak-Aged Sour and the first in the Veritas line to include white peaches.

750. Thanks, D! Pours a cloudy medium ruby pink with a dense and fizzy whitish head. Bright tangy stone fruits and some basementy funk on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lightly sweetened cereal with bright tangy stone fruit and some tangy funk on the palate. Soft clean beautiful finish.

Malty and yeasty aroma, funky, tart fruity, stone fruits, vinegar, vinous, wood, grass and tart citrusy notes. Light sweet, light bitter and moderate acidic taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle pours hazy yellow orange with a lasting white head. Aroma is big white peach, pineapple, funk. Tart and peachy flavor, biting, nice. Medium bodied, well carbonated (actually gushed), surprise for Lost Abbey. Strong veritas offering.

Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, grapes, peach, tart, gooseberries, pale malt, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20161111]
