Lost Abbey Witch’s Wit. This beer pours out a hazy yellow hue with a decent white head. It had a slightly yeasty aroma with the spices being the prominent character. Beneath the spices is a sweet smell, most likely from honey and a floral aspect the finish off the aroma. The flavor carries the spices very well with the mild flavor of yeast and malts to round it out. Slight carbonation in this brew, in my opinion it could have benefited from having a tad more carbonation, but that’s just my personal preference in this case. Definitely a good beer.

Gott

GABF. Bottle pour. Hazy amber beer, dry and crisp. Subtle fruits dominated by banana esters. Slightly spicy finish. Okay.

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, wheat, honey, orange, bread, hops, citrus and spices.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque yellow/golden beer with medium yeast and with a medium white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, wheat, honey and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops, citrus and spices.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Amazing appearance, being almost fully opaque and having a decent steady head. The aroma could have been stronger. Great flavour, especially for its abv. Really makes that list of extra ingredients work.
