(Lost Coast 8 Ball Stout) Bottle 355ml at home. Into a shaker, ABV 5.8%
Dark brown to black colour on the body, one finger of thick and creamy beige head, very good retention.
Aroma of toasted malts, chocolate, cocoa, oats.
Taste begins sweet, chocolate, oats, lactose, cocoa, then roasted malts, faint bitter finish.
Medium body, good carbonation.
Quite good. Ulysse (539) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 23, 2017
Cocoa aroma. If you want to bare with the "stout" you’d better add "light" to it. Feels more like a porter to me. Well-balanced and just the right roast. florent.janssens (379) - - FEB 23, 2017
Arôme de torrefaction et chocolat. Gout de torréfaction. Floteuse vers la fin. Pas assez de poigne pour un vrai stout Hoponmate (309) - NEW ZEALAND - JAN 3, 2017
Has great mouthfeel. The taste and color is a little thin. Bit of chocolate but not much else. Rest is a very clean malt taste. madmitch76 (26366) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2017

Bottleshare at Matteo’s. Thanks to Daniel. Clear deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest carbonation. Smooth mild dark malts. Trace of milky sweetness. Modest dark malt tang and dark fruits. Smooth semi dry finish. Okay.

Halloween 2016 - Bottle picked up at The Beer Boutique and shared at Matteo’s. As ’Lost Coast 8 Ball Stout’, 5.8%. Dark brown or black, slight red hue, hazy and opaque, foamy light brown head, dotted lacing. Aroma is earthy, red berry, under-ripe berries, some blackcurrant. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is earthy, fruited dark chocolate, plummy with a dry finish. A full-flavoured fruity stout. Nice. (3.6) Panzerfaust (877) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - NOV 22, 2016
355ml bottle from Jumbo Costanera Center. Santiago, Nov. 2016. Pours a pitch black color with a big rocky beige head that diminishes slowly. Aroma is strong in dark malts with notes of licorice, high-cacao dark chocolate, prunes, dark rye bread, earth and roast. Beautiful. Taste is sweet but well balanced with roast burning the back of the palate. Some dark fruit and lactic flavors, oats are also noticeable. Quite full bodied, intense brew. The thing that messes with the enjoyment is a pretty fizzy carbonation. With less of that it would be clearly a 4. Nice Stout anyway. Reminded me a little of Sam Smith’s Oatmeal Stout.
