A full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is an assertive blend of malts with a sprightly cascade of hops.

Good and not bad at all. NIce to drink, easy to enjoy and with a thin shape but with some character.

Bottle into an ale glass. Aroma is on the low end but it?s a malt and caramel. Pour is a dark honey with a thick head that dies fast. Taste is a pure malt with little hop but it?s crisp. Finish is warm. Not a bad ale, not to heavy. Good on a hot summer day I?m sure.

On tap at The Yard House. String floral aroma. Half inch head which dissipated quickly. Clear amber. Very hoppy taste for an amber ale. Not what I expected ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 355ml, a clear amber beer with good creamy head. Nose is on fruit hops such as mangoo with caramel. Aroma is on carared malt, brown caramel, medium bitterness, orange and apricot notes, honey, resin and raspberries touch. Good.

Amber ale che si accontenta di una forte presenza di malti caramellati, con uno sfondo evanescente di note agrumate. Non eccezionale, ma bevuta volentieri.

We did a blind taste test between this beer and 4 other amber ales to objectively determine which one was best. The beers were Full Sail Amber, Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale, New Belgium Fat Tire, Lost Coast Alleycat, and Alaskan Amber. You can watch the video here to see who won:

Draft - Caramel malts and some grain. Clear amber with a rich white head. Dark grainy malts with a bit of toffee. The hops are subtle in the background and a slight bitter bite that finishes clean. A decent but boring beer.

BVery (11395) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Bottle. Hazy orange-amber pour with a nice smaller but dense head. Caramel and earthy malts abound, a little dusty on the taste. Just so-so for me.

mcberko (19227) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 22, 2013
On tap at Lost Coast, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma is very light, with notes of toasted bread and light fruitiness. Flavour brings out dry toasted bread, slight fruitiness, and a touch of caramel. Pretty boring beer, but decently enough made. Okay.

Sissio (1761) - Orsenigo, ITALY - NOV 23, 2013
Clear red/mandarin, mandarin head
Caramel, hops, sweet fruits with a hint of citrus (pleasant), hint of toffee
Sweet with lightly bitter ending, carbonation
Citric notes, red orange, mandarine, hint of caramel/honey, sweet licorice
